We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

MaltaWe were given the wrong room when we checked in. I specifically booked a room with a hot tub due to a disability I have. When we checked in I realized that we were given the wrong room. When I went to the reception to check the receptionist put me through the owner and after she said that she can only give us the room the day after, I requested a compensation, first she said that the rooms are all the same and when I adivsed that the photos included what I booked (ie hot tub) she said the photos are only there for guidance. She asked what will I do if I don't get the compensation, I explained that I had no other option but to stay there anyway, being it was 7pm, Having my elderly parents with me and considering my disability we were not gonna go find another place at that time after a whole day of travelling we had no energy. At check out we did get our discount, but I could have done with a more amicable phone call on the day of check in instead of the terrible attitude.
Very beautiful surroundings and smart rooms.
