The bed is a little bit soft for me.

The room is 7mins walk to the main station (Santa Maria Novella). 10-15mins to the central market and famous spots. It's self check-in. The host replies quickly.

I would have liked to have more soap bars for showering. The clothes hangers were all bent.

I really liked the room, it was very clean, very warm and the bed was comfortable. I was glad that the TV is a smart TV. The host responded to all my messages very fast. The location is great, the train station and the main tourist attractions are within walking distances.

Lots of traffic noise from the busy road below but the sound proofing was good. Was tricky to find as the booking.com diary invite gave the wrong address. Once I cut and paste the address we found it no problem.

Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for the price. Very close to the main train station and a short walk all the main tourist sights. Very quick response from staff when we had difficulty finding the place.

Very noisy - woke up bunch of times from the noise, no trash cans, it is more of an AirBnB since no cleaning services

Technical issues, AC was not working during our stay which made for a couple rough nights sleep. However the staff did their best to find a technician and were very understanding; compensated us for the inconvenience.

The pillows placed on the bed were stained in filth. Even though I conveyed the situation to the landlord with photos, he didn't care at all. There were only 2 tiny paper cups for coffee in the room. The bed had collapsed right down the middle and was very uncomfortable.

The bad is super uncomfortable. Seriously guys, change the mattress there! If u need to stay more then 2 nights like we did, it’s gonna be a bad choice. Also the radiator in our room did not work and an assistance did not do anything about it, although she said she will check it! The AC did not heat as well!

During our stay it smelled horribly from the bathroom( I guess because of old pipes). The room was clean but mop and bucket was left in there. No iron. Dirty walls.

Self check-in instructions sent at the last minute meaning that we had to struggle to find a wifi at the train station in order to get the check-in instructions. Slow response from owner either through booking or whatsapp We experienced 2 power surcharge/outage, both in pitch black with nobody to assist as wifi was no longer available. No emergency means/phone to contact the owner and nobody next door to assist. This meant no shower, no hot drink nothing. Electrical installation seems dodgy. We had to go out to find a free wifi to contact the owner. Location - 10 mins walking distance from train station but in the opposite direction of the city centre meaning it is quite a long walk to the city centre. Basically located at the extremity of the city near the "Porta". It faces a very busy street with endless movement of vehicles. There was a pedestrian accident in front of the property and two ambulances were called to the scene. Endless traffic flow also means lots of noise. When we arrived at the property, we could not bear the noise level in our room as the window was badly closed. We fortunately managed to fix the window and the noise level was more acceptable. Light sleepers, beware. No cleaning services at all during 4 nights. No change of towels The bathroom is stuffy and feels very hot despite the extractor No soap holder fixed in the bathroom. Not practical No tissue box provided Initial cleaning was not top-notch. We could see hairs lying on the floor from the preceding guests. Gloomy hallway Claustrophobic lift - one had to constantly press the lift button to operate the lift. Doorway leading to the room was smelly and cluttered with bags full of soiled towels and cleaning tools The doors close with keys so you have to carry your keys around when going out. No safe deposit box Very few food offerings in the area. We found it quite challenging to find restaurants in the area No receipt for our payment
