Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The only disadvantage is little elevator where you can't take your luggage and you must pay 50 cents for a ride.

Just one minor item : Stairs can be difficult for less mobil people carrying suitcases.

Because of construction the taxi couldn't get through. You may want to set up a taxi through the hotel so they have instructions on where to drop you off. The elevator was extremely small, prepare to walk up stairs.
Our room was very nice and roomy with a comfortable bed and nice pillows. There was a comfy chair to sit in, as well as a desk and table with chairs, a closet, and a safe. The bathroom was small and only one person could fit in at a time. The shower was small but had good water pressure. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great as you could easily walk to Capella Sansevero and other cathedrals and museums, as well as many eating and shopping streets. The restaurant directly across from the hotel, Napoli Notte, had great food and even entertainment at times. Self serve check in went smoothly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing was the shower was so small my tall boyfriend barely fit

Everything was fine, but I would consider providing wider options for breakfast. 1 piece of sweet pastry and coffee isn’t good enough for everyone.

I would have had trouble finding the property if it weren't for a very helpful taxi driver. This is to be expected staying in the old part of the city.

The breakfast offered at cafe down road was very limited
Very good accommodation, brilliant communication with staff, albeit wholly remotely but that caused no issues…very helpfully booked airport transfer for us…my negative comments would be about Naples in general and not about this B&B

The breakfast was pretty modest, but everything was fresh and kept us until lunch.
Excellent location, everything is brand new, very clean, the room is spacious, the area is a little noisy but once you close the balcony door - complete silence. The host contacted us a day before arrival and provided very detailed explanation on check in process, also was very responsive to questions during the stay.

Shower is a bit small, but it is ok for a short stay
Very welcoming staff. Good location, overall great facilities. I highly recommend it! Good value for money. Terrace is very nice. Great for a couple or friends. Also if you come with family and you have more than 2 rooms available at the same time it is a good option.

Everything was great.
I want to thank you for such a wonderful welcome in Naples. The hotel was modern and clean. Great location within walking distance of the train station and close to the airport. Delicious breakfasts to choose from. Special thanks to the BeB staff for their kindness and care.
