Breakfast is not served until 8am and we had early meeting at 8 at the Uffizi. would have liked to have earlier time available

Location was within walking distance to most of the main sites; restaurants and shopping if that is what interests you. Lodging is in a private building on 2nd floor so when you go into building you are removed from all the busyness of what is going on outside

Smack bag in the middle of all the places you want to see so it can be a little noisy but no complaints really.

This is a really superb small hotel - location, breakfast, staff, room, quality of bed, quietness are all exceptional. Utterly, utterly charming. Would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms were well-appointed, spacious and had a great rainfall shower with separate double sinks. The location was fantastic and close to everything in central Florence. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices including a cooked-to-order omelette , Italian pastries, fruit and freshly squeezed juices.Our host, Martina, was delightful and went above and beyond in restaurant reservations and scheduling a taxi. She is an excellent host. The B&B has about 12 rooms and occupies the entire second floor of an apartment building. An elevator is available to take you up to the B&B floor and the outside entrance is securely accessed with your room card. it felt very safe there. If you plan on visiting Florence you won’t be disappointed.

Nothing - only thing I would highlight is that the entrance is in a non-driving section of the street that can be quite busy, so getting a cab would be difficult. We walked from the station with our bags and it was very manageable (about 13 mins or so).

The Corte Calzaiuoli was amazing - perfect location in the middle of everything you want to do in Florence, but also a haven and a quiet, comfortable and luxurious place to relax after a big day. The breakfast was great quality and delicious (the tea was perfect!), and the service was impeccable. The hotel is tucked away behind a wooden door on one of the main shopping streets, a couple of minutes walk from the main sites, and we had an amazing view of the Church of Orsanmichele from our window - but once you closed the windows you'd never know you were in the middle of the action. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone coming to Firenze.

because of its central location it does tend to be loud but the shutters do a great job making the room dark

Bathroom facilities were separate - toilet in one space, bathtub in the main room, shower located in another spot in the room.

Great location to the Duomo, the Uffuzi Gallery, Piazza San Lorenzo, and Central Market. Staff was great and rooms were quiet, breakfast was quite good.

Nothing could have been better. We had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. We were surprised by how quiet it was during the nighttime for a city central location. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We appreciated the very personal service offered to us and the flexibility shown in letting us check out an hour later than planned.

Location was excellent. The staff serving Breakfast, the cleaner, and the staff on reception were very helpful, friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety and a high standard.
