Lovely place. Breakfast is great, with handmade cakes. In a quiet street, but easy access to the walled city, and a bus to the station is very close. Fabulous.

Everything exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious and had everything you might need, from a toothbrush and cotton buds to slippers and more. The staff was incredibly kind and genuinely cared about making my stay enjoyable. They even helped me book a table at a nearby restaurant with amazing food and live music—I highly recommend it! And the bathtub? Wow! It was so relaxing. Next time, I’ll definitely try the massage as well. Breakfast had a great variety, and the homemade apple pie was especially delicious.

I don't like living in the tourist center and especially maneuvering there with the car. Therefore the location was ideal for me. Quiet, easy access by car and about a 5-8 minute walk to the nearest gate of the old city. Best breakfast of all other places on my trip.

Lovely, quirky and clean. On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Maria who give me lots of local information. The property was tastefully renovated and quite unique. The breakfast was included in the price and very enjoyable. Maria and Nadia couldn’t do enough to ensure a pleasant stay.

Room was delightfully decorated, bed was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious, both Marie and Nadia were so helpful and fun to deal with. Coffee was the best I’ve had in Italy. I was even allowed to bring in my own pillow even though Marie thought I was a strange Aussie for doing so! Ha ha. Highly recommend this place!

Very friendly, hospitable, and helpful staff. We arrived a little early and were offered coffee, pastries and fruit while we waited to check in. The rooms were spacious and air-conditioned. A pleasant breakfast area, with a generous and varied breakfast, with both hot and cold dishes. Parking right outside the hotel, and a 5m walk to the walls of Lucca. A great find.

Our room was rather small, and the bathroom was very tight.

Location was fine - 20 minute walk from the centre of Lucca. The hotel has its own, very individual style (see photos in app and on website). Breakfast was excellent - the usual Italian style is to have a small, sweet breakfast. The hotel offered this, but also a savoury selection - a major plus for us. Because of the very rainy weather on the day we checked out, we asked for, and received, a late check out time. Our thanks for the hotel's flexibility. Staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit.

The only feedback I would provide would be there was no milk in the bedroom for cups of tea.

The hotel was fabulous! Loved my room with balcony, the rustic features and art on the walls gave it a unique feel. Bed very comfy. All of the facilities were very clean and tidy. The ladies were very helpful with getting me a taxi and providing me with useful hints for the local area. The breakfast was lovely, fantastic food and lots of choice. Thanks again.

Not a single negative

The location was perfect for our 3 days in the beautiful Lucca. We live in Florence but have always wanted to visit this city. Maria was extremely sweet and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice, which is quite remarkable considering it's a small 5 room hotels and run by 1 person. The rooms are exactly as the photos but even more quaint and beautiful in person. We could happily have stayed for any length of time and not needed anything differently. There was a beautiful bath tub in the room, which we used with the complimentary Prosecco that Maria had left for us, knowing it was our Anniversary. I've stayed all over Italy but rarely leave reviews. This place had it's own magic

Maria and Nadia were the best hosts one can imagine - very welcoming, caring, generous and helpful in many different ways. The beautiful room, impressively decorated following an Arthurian theme, was perfect: really comfortable, stylish, quiet and very close to the historic centre. everything was fine!

very nice atmospheare, room was exact as shown on the photos. We had Nr 1 with a small balcony. we could park our car infront of the hotel and it took a 15 min gentle walk to the dome. So everything was perfect for our stay!
