Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThis place advertised it offered a washing machine. An elderly lady with little English told me that was 'a mistake'. This was a rehearsed answer. I did not appreciate the lie in the Booking.com profile, nor the treatment I got at the property. Booking.com should do more to enforce the accuracy of its client's profiles of their properties. this happened in 2 other Booking.com properties I used in Europe.

EstoniaThe place is modest. It's better not to have high expectations for the room itself.
This area of Rome is nice and not very crowded. Good connection with public transport, though most sights are in walking distance. The price was good for the location.

BelarusI have not get in contact with the owner. He putted keys just in opened mail box nearby the door in apartments. So I felt not 100% safety, but that's okay.
The price and the district were pretty good. All needed facilities. Good bedroom. Sweet Breakfest at TONY's bar

MoldovaAccording to the description of the place breakfast is included. But the breakfast out of coffee and croissant is just a snack. Clearness of the place leaves much to be desired. And the whole place definitely needs renovation.
The place is OK - quiet. 5 min from the Metro. 10-12 min from the Vatican. 15 min from the airport shuttle - that’s the main advantage. I always chose the place in that very neighbourhood not to use other transportation to get to most other places. The breakfast is at the cafe 5 min from the place. You have a cup of coffee and a croissant - that’s free but you can buy some sandwiches

AustraliaHotel facilities. Not clean much, and the facilities are too old and feel like unhygienic. Most of the things are nearly broken. May be ok a for a solo traveller who just spend the night at hotel room for sleep only. It is not recommended at all for the family.

ItalyPlace was clean but there was no functioning lock on my bedroom door and no Wi-Fi. When I phoned them they told me to restart the router which I did. The internet did not connect ( I don't think it is actually connected at all) and when I rang back, the phone went straight to voicemail.

Czech RepublicThe bathroom is full of mold, everywhere. The room and bathroom smells and there was only one bedsheet and it has a very pungent smell like the smell in gym changing room. I requested for a bedsheet and he never replied. There was no towel for floor on bathroom, the washing machine was damaged and one could be electricuted, fridge was bad, mosquitoes everywhere. It was very bad, I am attaching the real pictures here. The breakfast he will give you one croissant and cappuccino. Don't pay for that and the locks of the room is another story. All the pictures you see in the add am sure was very long years ago or even a calculated scam. I have already submitted a complain on Booking.com on what I experienced there.
The location was OK, it was close to the Vatican and also restaurants. This an objective review am giving. Please anyone reading this, should take it as a holistic review. This is the only good thing about this accommodation. Everything you see in this add or pictures is a scam /fraud.

GreeceWe thought that the bed was double but but it just had 2 single mattresses in one making sleeping together a little bit hard
I totally recommend this room. Francesco, the owner was really kind and helpfull. The room was in a really good place near the metro and really close to the Vatican. It was very clean and it had private bathroom inside the room. For the money we paid it was excellent.

CroatiaThe host is great. He is responding very fast to the messages I send him. Very easy going. The room and the rest of the place is clean and comfy. The area is just great. I really had a feeling that I am in Italy. You have everything you need in the surrounding. If I come again to Rome, I would be glad to return.

One of the best for me when it has to do about budget stay. Close to the metro, in a very nice street, excellent area, excellent staff, warm water to take a shower. It also had breakfast, but we didn't have the chance to try it due to the lack of time. I definitely rexommmwms it.
