Every attention to detail. The staff were all excellent. Free happy hour was a pleasant meet up for our group ready to go out for an evening meal. Breakfast ticked all the boxes for this type of hotel. Expect more continental than full hot offerings. Location actually was just outside the main city but close enough to walk in or approx 12-15 Euro cab ride as we had elderly relatives with us. Beds were the most comfortable we had ever had in a hotel. We are glad they did not do evening meals as we may not have left the hotel. Secure parking. Florence was fabulous as well. Hotel has a lovely relaxing feel about it

The service at the hotel was the best we experienced in our entire trip. They are attentive to detail and go beyond expectations with a complimentary happy hour and other kind gestures during the stay. loved the quiet stay a little outside of the busy tourist area of the city.

A real gem of a hotel— wonderful service, great rooms and a yummy breakfast and happy hour. We felt like we were visiting friends! We will be back to Italy and Hotel David us on our “don’t miss” list.

It was a perfect stay but if we had one wish we would have wished for a small pool as we experienced extreme heat of 38-40 degrees for two weeks. But the wonderful hotel staff organized a pool visit for us which was just what we needed.

It is a little gem hidden behind a wall. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and well equipped. The very friendly and helpful staff makes you feel at home. Breakfast is very good both in selection and quality. We enjoyed it on a lovely terrace. The minibar was for free and refilled daily. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a living room section where you can sit and enjoy especially the free drinks in the hour before you go out for dinner.

The Hotel David is my top choice for any stay in Firenze whether I travel for work or pleasure. It has a fantastic staff who really take excellent care of clients. The rooms are comfortable, and every care is given to provide travelers with every possible convenience. They have multiple servers to make sure good internet is always available, the air-conditioning autonomous and each rooms can set the temperature for maximum comfort. The courtesy breakfast is wonderful and offers great variety and quality. The lovely "apricena" cocktail hour is a fun way to relax and meet fellow guests. If you are able to get a room at Hotel David you are a lucky traveler! Buon viaggio!

exceptional service and property . it is so beautiful , and they have thought of everything to make sure the guests have a great experience , they had a free cocktail hour , free breakfast and snacks . rooms are sooo comfortable and spacious. very close to the Dome . and parking for car is there too

Bit too far to walk to the centre of the city on a hot day, but this wasn't a big issue, we just took the bus.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, and were so helpful. They booked us a taxi to the airport and also sold bus tickets, and upon arrival pointed out all the must see destinations on a map. Breakfast had a good selection, the pastries from a local bakery were especially good, and you could eat outdoors on a lovely covered terrace. Our room was a very good size and bed was comfy. Happy hour was a very nice bonus - free drinks and snacks at the front of the hotel. A few restaurants nearby.

I liked everything about it. It was a bit far away, but it was so nice and quiet and we could sleep well at night.

The hotel itself was absolutely charming. It felt like I was staying in Florence instead of a hotel room that looked like that states. It felt like old world Florence. I loved all of the art and antiques in the hotel. They spoiled us with amazing breakfasts and happy hour wine and snacks. I will definitely come back!

The location is a little farther from the city center. So, walking takes a little longer. However, the walk is along the Arno river and scenic.

The staff always greets you with a smile and are very accommodating. One morning we had an early bus tour and the staff prepared individual bags with breakfast items. They are awesome!! The breakfast was very good stocked with pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon and a machine that makes expresso/cappuccino/etc. The outside terrace for breakfast was peaceful and pleasant. The lobby/lounge area is a great area to relax and listen to music. The water pressure for showers is amazing.

The breakfast was amazing! Nice selection and freshly made eggs! Happy hour was a huge bonus treat after a long day in the hot sun visiting museums and navigating the city. The staff were exceptional and were so very helpful and pleasant!

We’ve stayed here a few times. We love the idea of the happy hour: a chance to meet and chat with other guests. We also think that the staff here are outstanding and exceeding friendly.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and happy hour were amazing as were the fantastic staff. They even left a bottle of wine and a note wishing us a happy honeymoon. We will be back and will recommend this place.
