Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Lovely apartments, perhaps the best we have stayed in in Italy so far. Gianluca is a wonderful host, he explained everything to us and took care of our needs. The room has a very good bed. It has an orthopaedic mattress and pillows that mould to the shape of your body, making it very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and glossy. Perfectly located - just steps from the underground station Sant'Agnese/Annibaliano and the bus stop for the city center and the railway station. We found it more convenient to travel by bus. You can make tea (we liked the orange one :-)) or coffee in the communal area. Excellent Wi-Fi, even two routers. Thank you for everything and we wish Gianluca all the best in his future endeavours!

United StatesThe guest bed was not super comfy. But the king size bed is wonderful
Clean and comfy room for a great value! The manager Gianluca is excellent and helped us with whatever we needed. The location is right next to a metro station so you can get to Rome attractions very easily

Czech RepublicSome corners and shower head in the shower could be little bit better, otherwise very clean ;) (I understand the problem with highly mineralized water in the Rome)
Perfect location - super near the metro/bus station Near bakery, mini grocery shop, cafe bar, restaurant Great bed and pillows Fresh towels Quiet and private place, (when closed window blinds - no sounds from street) Basic kitchen bar in a shared room (cofee, tea, plates) Very kind housekeeper (helps with many things - thank you again)

CanadaThe wifi wasn’t the best and the breakfast at the affiliated bar/restaurant was primarily pastries. This is typical for Italian breakfast but not the best for someone who cannot eat gluten.
Excellent location - close to metro station with services near by. The room was clean, large with space for everything. The AC was excellent and the bed very comfortable.

ItalyIt is a little far from the main areas with attractions etc. but it was a good price so the distance in my opinion was worth it. Also the shower would go in and out of hot and cold water but only sometimes. Otherwise everything was great.
Eritrea suite had everything you need for a few nights in Rome. The bed/pillows were very comfortable, there was a tv and refrigerator and coffee/tea at our disposal. It is also 1 min walking distance to metro station which was a huge plus. Gianluca was very friendly and was available to answer any questions we had via WhatsApp and calls.

United StatesRoom is very small. TV is very small, no cable or English channels. No view from the window only the backs and roofs of other houses. Owner is not there to ask questions. A/C shuts off when leaving the room, so room is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast was not what we expected (only pastry and coffee no eggs and bacon or pancakes).
Rome is beautiful. San Marino restaurant is GREAT for dinner. Metro and bus station is very nearby but our wallet was stollen in the metro and we were fined in the bus (50 euro each) for not having out bus ticket stamped. Best to take the taxi.
