I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport and due to the early departure of my flight wanted a short Trip. I arrived to the hotel and asked the reception to reserve a taxi for the next day. I was a little shocked when the receptionist said he will print the numbers and I should contact the taxi companies myself. In the end he did call for me since I spoke no Italian. The taxi did pick me up but trip was very dear. The receptionist on the second stay didn’t seem to be so experienced as on my first stay.

I stayed here twice. The hotel is dated but rooms are clean. Breakfast was ok.

Although the hotel has its own parking spaces, it can happen that they are all occupied when you arrive.

I had some problems with the lock system of the door. After you enter your code you have to be careful not to open too fast and not to open too late, otherwise it does not work and it gives you an error message. The best should be a couple of seconds after it says "unlocked".

Great location just a few min from the station on foot, whilst close to several shops and bars. Comfy beds, great working wifi, overall super clean. Nice coffee in the morning

Need new pillows and the room didn’t have a glass or a cup in it. Only a plastic cup. Would of been nice to have had facilities to make a cup of tea.

Wifi was a little bit strange as there was a need to open a browser window to ensure login each time we reconnect to it. Once connected it was fine.

Very well located, Staff at reception are very nice, helpful and have excellent English. Quite some choices at breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom has a bath/shower that looked a bit outdated and could only be used as a shower, but that was totally fine. Quiet at night and safe location,

Breakfast was simpler as expected.

Parking is included. Garage is spacious enough to accommodate our large car. Very friendly staff. Location is close to the center of Monfalcone. Good coffee for breakfast: ask to prepare it at the bar.

Excelsior by name and nature! Excellent hotel, well managed and looked after beautifully. Despite being dated very well looked after, original artworks on the walls, fresh sheets, curtains etc. whirlpool bath and balcony. Additionally staff very helpful and professional, esp when I was delayed by travel problems.

The place is absolutely amazing. I enjoyed breakfast, my room was clean, the location is very comfortable, because it is close to everything. I was surprised that absolutely everything in my room might not being super new, but very well maintained, everything was working.The staff is very nice, Fabio and the lady who replace him in the morning were very friendly and kind.

Very little to see or do in Monfalcone, but it was a convenient stay, not far from Trieste.

The room was clean, quiet, and the parking was very convenient. Good breakfast. Location was good, although Monfalcone is a quiet little town, with not much to see or do.
