The staff is literally horrible. They do not give 2 farts about you. Rude. I'm going to call out the kid at the desk for a second, listen bud you're way too young to be that miserable and depressed. Life is so beautiful and you really did not welcome any guests with a smile. Unfortunate. Onto my room... Wow It sucked. The bed was a literal plank of springs and I hated every single second of sleeping on It. I actually did not fit in the shower. I guess this room also shared a common wall with the elevator gears/pulleys but if you don't figure out those loud noises in the walls are just the elevator, than you will 100% believe there is a demon clawing it's way through the walls. There is no parking, they basically said "good luck" and sent me off 14 minute walk away. This is natural for this area but help me out guys I don't know the best strategies here. Sheesh. The rooms are climate controlled by the front desk. Yes, you read that correct. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. My room was an inferno when I checked in so I went down to have them put on the AC. I'm the middle of the night I FROZE. So I had to go down and have them switch it off. I'm usually not picky or that temperature sensitive but this was a joke. Never again. I was miserable. Everything is old. So unnecessarily old. Put SOME money back into the property, please. The keys they give you are exactly 73lbs. It's unusual. You also must put those keys into the wall after you have entered your room so that the electricity works. So let's roll play for a moment. You are sharing a room with a friend, they would like to call it an early night and head back to the room wihtout you, but, without the key they have no power, so you can't simply walk back with them and let them in then take the key back with you. It's a mess. Don't go here. Don't ever even walk in or near it.

The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. The breakfast was not good BUT it was better than most I have had through my Italy tour.

Everything customer was very bad all night ac water was dripping on the floor I fell down and I spoke to reception instead of some compensation they gave me 3 towels to put on floor

See above. Also the internet was spotty. Very frustrating. Staff not very friendly, especially the man. The woman was nicer.

The breakfast was disappointing. Very little fresh fruit and the croissants were stale. Not much variety. The cappuccino was Luke warm.

We found a cockroach in the bathroom!!! It’s true that this can happen anywhere but my experience was ruined. Also, the bed covers had stains and that gave us a terrible impression. The Breakfast room was insufficient for the amount of guests, not enough fruits and the coffee was not good from self-service machine. The building is old and lacks noise insulation and the window with view to the lake was milky stained so there was no view really.

Great location, beautiful building and wonderful staff. Efficient, no complications. Spacious room with useful electric blinds.

The room needs to be updated the shower did not have a shelf so I had nowhere to put soap or hair shampoo.

Location was great! The breakfast was just OK for an Italian type breakfast. The coffee machines were sometimes difficult.

The location was fabulous ,so close to the ferries & on the flat area of Bellagio. We loved the beautiful old world charm of the hotel. All the facilities were excellent including the staff. We would highly recommend & will stay here again.

Your staff member Madhi. Extremely rude and argumentative. We simply asked for an extra bed sheet for our bed. I cannot believe that you would employ a person who is so rude. I would never return to your hotel because after many years of travel we have never experienced such shocking rudeness. We love Italy but he does Italy and your Hotel a terrible disservice. This is the first time I have ever left a review. Very sad to feel the need to report such rudeness and disrespect .

The hotel was awful.We had to move room 3 times. The first room had a courtyard thing outside, and staff were smoking what smelt like canabis, so we couldn't open the window. Reception moved us to a room where the lift was so loud that we couldn't sleep. We were then offered a room that had a really bad smell of sewage. Eventually, we got a room that was ok.

Scenery beautiful. Felt very safe in Bellagio.
