It was fine - for a chain hotel that caters to businesses and those with expense accounts. Perhaps the breakfast is so exceptional that it's worth the €15 per person but we have never had to pay that much and are not likely to.

This hotel is just across the street from the train station. It's a 'conference hotel' and, as such, has no real charm or anything to endear it to guests. It could have been located anywhere. That said, it was clean, the room was fine (although we didn't really have much of a view), the cleaning staff was cheerful and the receptionists were quite efficient but it was obvious that the hotel caters to those in town on business. We didn't try the breakfast as €15 per person was more than we were willing to pay. (We've had some wonderful breakfasts in Scandinavian hotels that are included in the price of the room). In short, everything 'worked' at the hotel but there was nothing special about it or anything that would cause us to return to it.

Overall, the structure is a little bit old. And very big. There is a constant checking-in and checking-out, at the front desk more personnel could be needed or a way to do a self-check-in or, at least a self-check-out could be helping. Bathroom was also dated, and pieces of the shower were ruined or broken. Toiletries was missing or under the expectations for a 4* Hotel. Furniture is also a little bit dated and would need a restyling, from my point of view.

The Hotel is a big one located just in front of the main station. Rooms are spacious (even the superiors). The breakfast is excellent with a very large buffet. It is to appreaciate that someone of the staff is always there traing to respond to every need.

For more than 250£ per night, I was expecting way better. Room was OK, not really that big, basic decor, but defective air conditioning meant it was so hot we had to keep the window open. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. People working at the hotel were nice and polite. Overall OK, but it isn’t a 250£ a night hotel.

We stayed in room 319. From 6 o'clock in the morning, the cleaning staff started to make noise around in our room, rooms above and rooms next to us.

No hot water, restaurant closed to guests who were not part of an Enel seminar. Next night bar closed even early evening. No hot water all first night. Heating fan more than noisy. Breakfast quality of products poor. Breakfast staff miserable. Not to be recommended at all.

biggest hiccup was at the end of the stay checking out, the receptionist seemed to insist that we did not pay for our stay when I showed her my bank statement for the booking.com charge for the whole stay. she seemed to insist that only a deposit was taken and not charged. would have been better if she had checked before insisting. hotel doesn’t have an iron which I found odd. rooms are slightly dated. air conditioning did not work well.

In that price breakfast should be included. Also it wouldn't be difficult to offer a few basic things to the guests such as a small bottle of water.. Rooms should be more modern maybe.

The rooms were had okd furniture and cheap laminated floor. I paid in full cash after checking out and they took the money from my Credit card that i used to so the reservation and it took be more than a moths to get the money back . Customer service is appalling nevee answer any of my emails. The only good things was the breakfast. Not good vakue for money at all. Very sad reflecting badly on the Italian Hotel industry. I felt ashame as an italian citizen about their luck of professionalism.

Despite the room was spacious, AC is very noisy, shower … forget about the hot water at least for 5-10min (that was the case with my room), walls are not soundproof you can easily hear everything around, too crowded hotel so I believe the lobby is not big enough for the number of people visiting them.

Good location if you want to explore Bologna and cities around. Stuff is very professional and helpful.
