Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Charging points in the room! There was only one plug which would take a European 2pin adapter. All other sockets had lamps with 3pin plugs.
Very helpful staff. We were able to checkin very early.

Breakfast was below average.
Nice and very clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. It's not far away from the old city. Right next to the central station which was convenient in our case.

Bed pillows very uncomfortable. Room spacious but not worth the price tbh.staff nice. Have stayed in nicer 4 star hotels for cheaper. Only booked this due to its location to train station and it was the only available place.
Very good location. Great breakfast but paid extra for this. Tv very hard to use as not a lot of stations and could have some English speaking ones.

Staff and Management were excellent and more than met our expectations. Martina was very helpful to my wife and I. The restaurant manager was excellent along with his staff. Breakfast in morning was outstanding. Our room was well maintained by housekeeping and very comfortable. Property is close to all transportation and places of interest.

The room was comfortable, well serviced and sound proofed.We chose the location as it is virtually opposite the Grand Central Railway stations as we planned to visit Modena and Parma. We used the bar and adjacent restaurant a number of times and the service was professional and friendly and the food was good.The walk to central Bologna takes about 15 minutes or so with so much to see of historical/cultural interest or top quality shopping. We loved Bologna and Modena is a real gem.

Clean and comfortable hotel opposite the train station. Friendly staff, we arrived a little late in the evening, but they recommended a great restaurant nearby (Il Veliero).

Nothing really to dislike. Only suggestion that I'd make is that it's difficult to get a coffee a breakfast so either a machine or offering more pots of coffee would be good.
Great location for bus & train station. Clean & quiet room. Breakfast was also very good.

Breakfast service a bit chaotic, understaffed. Staff lovely but had to ask several times for tea/coffee and then wrong order arrived. Not any blame to staff, just too busy
