Room was around the back and very dark. Shower over the bath, very old fashioned.

The reception staff were outstanding, so helpful. We just loved the rooftop, this really was the highlight of our stay at this hotel.

I was expecting a larger room based on the price and advertised square footage, but much of this was taken up with a large wardrobe area that led on to the bathroom. This was adjacent, but separate to the bedroom and effectively, unusable space. The bedroom itself was therefore smaller than expected for the price paid and rating of the room, with no comfortable seating area. The advertised pictures of the rooftop area show it as an open-air, outdoor space, which was one of the attractions when booking. This was not the case - it was a covered rooftop bar that was closed for a private function on two nights of my four night stay. The lack of expected, relaxing outdoor space was a disappointment.

The bar prices were extortionate, which allowed us to explore the cheaper local bars and restaurants.

The property is situated in an excellent location, with great views towards the Forum and easy walks to most of the major sites in the centre of the City. We really enjoyed the ‘Open’ restaurant area. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It doesn’t have AC it has a Swamp cooler to cool down the property. Ours didn’t work well and it was hot

Nothing really. I like the old feeling of the hotel. This is an hotel with a story to tell. It is not a sophisticated or modern hotel but it is definitely authentic and charming.

The location is amazing. It is in the hearth of ancient Rome in front of the Forum and the Colisseum. the roof terrace is breath-taking. i had an early breakfast and i was alone just admiring the Roman ruins in front of my sight.

Lack of information from staff - had rebooked into a family room but no information provided about time to move from one room to the next, so we lost the booking and I had to find an alternative at the last minute. All the front desk needed to do was to make a phone call to ask if we were still taking the room and that we would need to make the switch within certain time limit. Beds could be a little more comfortable but overall, good value for money.

The location was spectacular and I was given a room with the most gorgeous view of the city. I was also kindly allowed an early check in, which I was very grateful for as I only had one day in Rome. I loved my stay at Forum and would highly recommend the place.

The WiFi was not very strong and hard to keep. The blow dryer in the room was the worst. It would run for 3 minutes and then turn itself off and you’d have to wait several minutes for it to cool off and turn back on. Very frustrating and a waste of our limited time in Rome.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was central to many things and the rooftop bar and restaurant were beautiful.

The bed is very small, even the whole room was quite straitened. We supposed to have a classic room, but It looked like a room for one person... anyway for two nights it was ok.

The location is perfect, just in the middle of the city. And view from the roof during breakfast was just breathtaking.

Room is OK and equipped, but mine had no proper desk should you have to work from the room. Still possible to go somewhere else in the hotel on ground floor. Restaurants' road below made room noisy at night (1st floor) and some noise also came from corridor through room door, as furnitures are generally a little old fashoned.

Location is ideal in the heart of the city of Rome and next to Metro Roof restaurant is a plus for view on the Coliseum (although could be chilly as it is a covered terrace) Historic feeling
