Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe location is amazing. We had the most beautiful (and historic) view from our room. The restaurant is a must have experience. We also loved that we had access to the main lobby piano so my husband could play every day.

United KingdomThe noise from the buskers. The restaurant was dowdy and lacking in atmosphere. The rooftop bar played terrible music
The room was fine, but the decor was poor, no feeling of Italy, just a mish mash of styles. The view from window was superb but the noise from the buskers in the Forum was maddening. There weren't enough charge points for multiple gadgets.

SerbiaThe hotel is done in an old style which I understand. Antique furniture and so on, but the size of the room which I paid 330€ a night for, was smaller than the size of my bathroom at home. Ridiculous. The concierge was friendly to an extent, but not helpful at all when I asked if I could check in a little earlier because I had to shower prior to a work meeting. I had just arrived from the airport and they expected me to wait for 5 hours during which I had to freshen up in the hotel lobby bathroom. Not acceptable to be honest. I travel a lot and come from Asia where the customer service and the hospitality industry is light years ahead and much more affordable price. Europeans could really learn something from us when they decide to look past their arrogance.
The location was good, but other than that, for the money you pay, the hotel is really overrated and not worth it.

United StatesThe pictures on the internet didn’t match the hotel. The pictures looked modern and high end. The hotel is a little old and the rooms are small. I asked for 2 beds and we got 1 king size.
The breakfast wasn’t I expected. The eggs were runny. The view was great from the rooftop.

BelgiumSome of the facilities like the elevators are outdated, the water of the shower could be warmer, the roof top restaurant desolated except during breakfast. The reception, once proudfull and glamourous, still having these blody COVID plexy between the recptionist and the customer
I stayed the first time in hotel Forum 30 years ago for a few times. I unfortunatly must recognize that it has lost a lot of its glamour. It s still ok, the location perfect. The roof terrace and american bar have an amazing view

Czech RepublicSuper noisy, absolutely zero sound insulation from movement on the floor or from other rooms. We got woke up 3 times at night by guests that were just passing in the hall. One night someone above us was moving all the furniture, so it was really unbearable. I suppose it is understandable at such an old building, yet I was expecting better sleep condition. Also the junior suite had no door between the rooms, thus you only gain space for the extra money, but no privacy. The curtain that is dividing the rooms is a joke. City tax and breakfast was not included and that made the stay about 160€ extra for the three nights. Not a pleasant surprise.
Location is amazing, roof top bar has a great view, but the rates are ridiculous for what the bar looks like. The history breathes from everywhere, the hotel has a nice spirit, staff is kind and smiling. Room was clean and weel furbished.

ItalyI didn't like the fact that I got food poisoning from rotten oysters and the only thing they offered was to cancel the amount we needed to pay for the dinner. It ruined my 5 year wedding anniversary as my husband and I couldn't eat anything else, has severe pain and stomach and intestinal issues for days, which made us cancel monuments and museums visits. We went to Rome to see the beauties of the city, eat authentic Roman food, and enjoy a nice time. Honestly, I would not recommend the place to anyone, because the staff was not helpful and even questioned if he had food poisoning from the oysters... with that smell, it was obvious that it was because of that.
The location was great, right in front of the Roman Forum and the views were fantastic.

United KingdomRoom was very small and pretty basic. TV was small. Duvet had no cover! Toilet paper not replaced and even when this was brought to notice of the staff it took over an hour for them to bring some more. Staff seemed rather unwelcoming.
