Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaThe room was rather small - but for one night it was perfectly sufficient :)
Great location, 2 mins walk to the Pisa tower. Friendly staff, good value for your money.

GermanyLocation very close to the pisa tower. The staffs are friendly. The isolation of noise for our room is bad, although now it is not the busy season, so the restaurants downstairs are not loud. But we can hear so oft sounds of motocycle during the midnight and in the morning from 6oclcok every 5 to 30minutes motocycle driving on the street and another noise from the streets cleaning car. We have booked two nights there and could not sleep well. for people who are sensible of noise, definitely need earplugs during sleep. Another thing we have figured out accidentally is the WiFi in the hotel blocked some certain videos on YouTube. You have asked the staff about the reason. But she has no ideas about this and said never knew this situation before.

United KingdomBreakfast was a little cramped and it had ran out of things before we got there as a family, although staff did go and get us a few extra bits. Still good value
Absolutely perfect location for visiting pisa Tower and attractions, right near fabulous restaurants and ideally placed. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Recommend you get there early for breakfast and take a look at the view from the garden. I'd definitely stay again, perfect for what we needed

United KingdomThe bathroom floor was cleaned every day but was left sopping wet which was a bit annoying when we returned to our room as it still hadn't dried. There were no tea or coffee making facilities and the fridge didn't work.
The location was superb. The room was comfortable and clean, and most importantly, quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomWe would have enjoyed having a kettle with cups and teas and coffees, to enjoy in our own room.
A great location for the hotel. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a very short walk from there. It's central location is perfect to find shops, an amazing assortment of restaurants as well as easy, within walkable distance, from both train stations.

PolandWe stayed at Hotel Francesco, located right next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and overall, it was a good experience! We booked the hotel very last-minute,as we had an early flight the next morning. It was a lifesaver! The room was relatively clean, as was the bathroom. One quirky thing was that the light switch for the room was located in the hallway, which we found a bit unusual. When we arrived around midnight, there was no one at the reception, which was a little concerning at first. However, the hotel provided instructions on how to access the property via Booking.com, and the staff was reachable by phone, so everything worked out smoothly. Overall, this hotel gets 3 stars from us for its great location, decent cleanliness, and helpful remote support. It’s a solid choice for a quick overnight stay near the Pisa landmarks.

CroatiaThe shower need to bee more clean.
Breakfast was very good, the staff also, when we ask for coffee or tea the staff was very quick to make it because they are working on the reception and in the restaurant. This hotel is small, but what do you need if you wont to explore Italy, only for napping :) it is near the Pisa tower only 1 minute.

United KingdomRoom was a little basic, but that was OK. We initially only had a pillow each provided so had to ask for extra, and also had to ask for more toilet roll during our stay - however, the staff were always accommodating and happy to help.
The staff were all excellent, and always happy to help if we needed any extra things (like an extra pillow). Special mention goes to Ersa who looked after us at breakfast each morning and was always lovely and welcoming. The location is fantastic - very central, a few mins walk from the tower, and shops around for anything you might need. And it has a lift!

United KingdomA couple of minor things - when we arrived, there was no tea and coffee making facility provided nor unfortunately any clothes hangers, but as stated above this was immediately resolved by the most helpful staff. The shower cubicle also didn’t have a rack to hold toiletries during use, which would have been a distinct advantage. Other than these minor inconveniences, nothing else to add.
The staff were extremely helpful, as on arrival we requested a couple of things we would have liked within the room, which were immediately attended to by the most helpful staff. The location proved to be excellent, really close to Pisa’s main attractions, restaurants and also with a very handy local supermarket nearby. The buffet breakfast was most acceptable without being excessive and staff were on hand to assist when required. Our room was comfortable, if a little compact, but this had to be expected given the style of the building itself. If you were travelling with a fair amount, or with large, luggage, it could prove a bit difficult for the room to accommodate it, although this has to be a minor inconvenience given the overall factors of location, convenience, cleanliness, value and service. The suggestions of additional places to visit provided by the reception were also extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay very much.
