We absolutely loved staying at Giardini Calce. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and has an excellent and incredibly quiet air climate control which was lovely during the nights. The bed provided was very big, comfortable and perfect for us. The staff were fantastic. They'd always greet us with a smile, wanting to hear about our days and offering help if needed. The best bit about staying here has to be the location. Being in central Ravello was just a dream. A lovely little town much more relaxed than Amalfi, Positano or Sorrento with good connections down the hillside to Amalfi with the regular Amico shuttle (something the staff at Giardini made us aware of) where we could catch a ferry to venture anywhere along the coast. I'd absolutely stay here again. Having breakfast provided each morning in the town square was just another bonus to add to a lovely stay.

Only thing I could feedback on would be that the doors to get in and out when it is dark are a little bit of fuss to begin with, but once you figure it out you are all good! Otherwise, recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for you! The hotel is steps away from the Duomo and a 10 minute walk (maximum) from Vila Cimbrone Gardens. The rooms were clean, large and the shower in our room was brilliant. The breakfast was great and was no fuss despite it being nextdoor to the hotel.

It is generally very loud, as there is a restaurant in the garden outside the window facing it. Loud music and conversation disturb the peace.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Giardini Calce during our trip to Ravello, and we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the hotel's stunning location overlooking Piazza Duomo. The views were absolutely breathtaking and exceeded our wildest expectations. Waking up to such a magnificent vista each morning was truly a highlight of our trip. However, what truly set our experience apart was the outstanding hospitality and service provided by your staff, particularly Tania. Tania went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Her warm welcome and genuine kindness made us feel right at home from the start. She was always available to assist us with any questions or requests we had, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. In addition to her exemplary service, Tania went out of her way to help us navigate a mishap with a car rental company. Her quick thinking and resourcefulness ensured that we were able to resolve the issue smoothly and continue enjoying our time in Ravello without any further inconvenience. Overall, our experience at Hotel Giardini Calce was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the dedicated team and the hotel's unbeatable location. The only thing was we found the bed a little too hard for us, but this was a minor detail compared with how lovely the stay was.

Location was perfect - right next to the main square and the Cathedral. Room was large and clean with everything immaculate. The welcome from Tania and the Calce family was particularly warm.

All the staff was so friendly and informative, they made us feel so welcoming. The room was just beautiful, perfect size for two people and the view of the square just topped it off!!

Best method of transport to Ravello is via car which is not cheap when taking into account car hire and parking . Parking is limited - streets reserved for residents . There is a private car park 25 euro per day with provide a shuttle (3 minutes ) from the car park to the main square of Ravello .

Hotel was fabulous - highly recommend. The owner was super welcoming and helpful . Lovely spacious and clean room - very quiet considering right by the square and above a restaurant . Simple but great breakfast included at the cafe below the hotel / in the square . Great location - lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance . Can walk to local towns including Atrani and Amalfi in 30-40 minutes .
