AC is central so I could not put it on and it was hot. Sound proofing not great and you can hear people screaming in the street. You can also hear people showering above you and when you shower water always gets onto the floor.

Location is very near train station but a bit noisy and not the nicest of roads. The bathroom is very small with a very compact shower.

Hotel rooms are nicely decorated if on the small side. Good breakfast.

The only thing I could critique is the area around the hotel after 8-9 o clock. Was informed by multiple locals that the area can get a little seedy. As an American I felt safe but who knows maybe I was just lucky. Felt very comfortable going out after dark. Women may be catcalled. Also be careful about the atms around the hotel, there are card skimmers on a few of them.

Loved the area, very central to everything. It made navigating the city feel like breeze. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was totally worth it.

Heating in room was not working or rather controled centrally, when we called for them to fix /adjust the temperature, they said they did but it was still cold, especially at night

Some parts of the room were a bit tired and the outlook wasn’t very nice, although it was quiet being at the back of the hotel

A small point. The hotel should have a better system for keeping room keys when the guest leaves the room key with the receptionist, not putting it just anywhere on the desk. One time the receptionist could not find our key and insinuated that we had not dropped it off when we left the hotel.

The hotel provided a sanctuary for us from the danger of being pick-pocketed throughout the city by highly skilled and organized gangs. It is the only place where we could relax, feeling safe. The staff was very professional. The hotel dealt remarkably well with serving breakfast to tour groups without impeding the breakfast for our small group of 3. The hotel called a taxi for us several times, which worked very well.

It doesn’t have a bar/restaurant area. From the photos I thought it had an outdoor seating area but this is only used for the breakfast area.

The hotel could use some tender loving care with renovations and painting. All the plants in the breakfast room on the top floor were dead. They could have at least been replaced. There were marks on the walls in the bedroom which could have been cleaned at least until it’s painted. The bathroom was nice but the mirror was chipped and on the ceiling in the corner there was mould. This did not give a good impression for a four star hotel.

The location is great as it is right next to the train and bus station. Despite needing some extra care the hotel and staff were great for our family holiday.

Breakfast could be more variety. The noise when you use the room key to push open the door could be quite startling for someone inside. Maybe they should make the noise go away when opening the door?

Room is good size and comfortable. They prepared 3 beds for us per my request which is nice. The shower system was very nice too! Location is really convenient. You can walk to everything. Right by the train station yet not noisy. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall, everything went well for our stay!

My queen bed was actually 2 twin mattresses pushed together. So there was a seam and a few times one of the mattresses would move creating a gap.

There was an issue with the airport pick that I had pre-arranged. The transport did not show up at the airport. I had to ring and chase. Unfortunately the hotel sent the driver to the wrong airport and we had to wait an extra 30 minutes for the driver to arrive.

No bar in the hotel… lacking a good number of tv channels … minibar only had 2 water bottles…

Location… 100 metres from train station… access to many tourist spots and restaurants.
