Amazing hotel. Grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Perfect day ended with Negroni flight watching the sunset at hotel bar.

The hotel has a wonderful location on the coastline with fabulous views over the bay. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast buffet is astonishing.

Everything was perfect but compared to the other similarly amazing hotels we stayed at through Italy this was the most expensive.

Everything about this hotel was old world beauty! From the rooms to the lobby to the pool area! It was in such a great location right off the Main Street which you would never know when you are in the hotel. Service was impeccable and the views of the warf and the ocean were amazing. The concierge did an amazing job helping us arrange transportation and also helping us with lost luggage. The pool area was so relaxing and beautiful for afternoons!

I have stayed in many hotels across the world from 2 star to 4 star but found the 5 star Excelsior Vittoria to be the best. We didn’t find one thing we didn’t like. Every member of staff we found to be of the highest order.

You could hear everything from the neighbouring bathroom which was really uncomfortable, but everything else was better than perfect.

The Grand Excelsior Vittoria is the epitomy of magnificent hotels in Sorrento. The private location in the middle of the city and the expansive views of the gulf are inimitable. The staff and service are beyond exceptional and for the caliber hotel they are, they are very child friendly. They also have a direct elevator to the marina. I would never want to stay anywhere else in Sorrento. You feel you are living in a different era altogether.

Marvelous views, marvelous decor, marvelous garden, marvelous restaurants, marvelous location. Great place to stay when doing various day tours on the Amalfi coast and to Capri. Pure luxury.

Like a lot of historic buildings, its difficult to deliver the right number of bedside sockets for our multiple devices, but we got by.

I've stayed at some of the very best hotels in the world, but I think this was the best. We had a slight problem at the start of our stay but it was resolved so well and so professionally that it only enhanced the experience. ALL the staff from the general manager, Tiziana right down to the room maids and bell boys were absolutely superb and they all seemed to know everyone's name which was impressive. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the service exceptional. We used the both the Terrazzo Bosquet and L'Orangerie restaurants in the evening and I can highly recommend both of them. Oh, and the suite was fantastic.

Beautiful place, perfectly situated with convenient elevator down to the port for easy ferry departure. The service was amazing, including a live piano player during our sumptuous breakfast. Amazingly attentive and friendly staff.

the location was fantastic, right downtown, but far enough away from the traffic noise. the hotel is on a cliff overlooking the sea, with a great terrace on which to enjoy an aperitif before walking into the adorable downtown for dinner.

Everything about this hotel is amazing. A stunning building with beautiful architecture and interiors, the gorgeous terrace and views, the amazing staff who are friendly and help with every need as well as all the luxury 5 star touches that felt so special. Our evening in Terazza Bosquet was the best fine dining we have eaten at for some time. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. I have convinced my husband to renew our vows here in the future!

Extortionately expensive restaurant, $40 EUR for a sandwich or burger which whilst delicious, did not justify the prices.

Were treated to a complimentary upgrade as we were on our honeymoon. Beautiful hotel, immaculately presented with the most stunning balcony overlooking the marina. One of the finest hotels I've ever seen.

The most exceptional stay we have had in a very long time. The hotel, whilst large, makes each guest feel like the most important person there which is quite a feat! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was brilliant and they certainly delivered. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent and our room was stunning. We cannot wait to stay there again.
