We asked for something to go into the freezer which the staff did not do. I use freezer packs to manage my medication.

The hotel is really old 18th century so expect old furniture nothing modern the bathroom a bit grubby. But something small no big deal

The location was the best close to everything ☺️ the staff were nice can't really fault it price was good and was out all the time will go back there again . Also the shower was good and very powerful.

It was very noisy, people were having a party and talking so loud I could not basically sleep for 2 nights! Also as my room was close to the reception, I could hear phone calling and people talking loudly. Noise also was coming from outside. The WC did not properly work, I had to push the button 3 times making a lot of effort to make it flush.

Dark room with a single bed - yes, it was advertised, but it did feel like it was a makeshift room. Again, clean overall and nothing to complain about!

Fantastic location in the center, very nice and helpful staff. The room was very good value for the price, albeit small and dark - which is fine as I didn't spend too much time in it. Very clean bathroom with good water pressure.

The air-conditioning noise coming from the outside during the night. Also, mosquitos and no available repellents in the room.

I liked the location which is 30 meters away from the Via Etnea bus station and the bus that goes directly to the Fontanarossa Airport. Room is fair and the staff is really helpful.

The location was excellent! The breakfast was very poor, however the croissant they were offering the moment you’d sit down was amazing! The general facilities of the hotel were very old and need to be updated - but this you can tell from the photos as well. Unfortunately the balcony we had was public so anybody could access it, which wasn’t an issue in terms of not being able to enjoy the balcony area, rather that we felt a bit unsafe since our balcony door was accesible to basically anyone(staying at the property). Overall if you’re looking at a budget friendly - excellently located hotel in Catania, please see the photos and book consciously. What you see is what you get!

The hotel is a little tired and outdated. Small adjustments would make it more contemporary, like the breakfast area that could be rearranged in terms of furniture and layout (random pieces of furniture and old TV could be removed to make the space airy and more welcoming). If I had to name one ‘bad’ thing during the stay, it would be horribly uncomfortable pillows. You are better off using your own traveling pillow, if you want to avoid headaches.

Property is in a fine location. great for shopping, dining and sightseeing. It is in a pedestrian zone so the traffic is minimal, yet bus stops are available round the corner, incl. Alibus to airport. Best thing about our room was the balcony overlooking the pedestrian zone on Via Etnea with a breathtaking view to Etna! Although room facilities remember better days and equipment was little tried, the cleanliness was at high level. Spotless white towels changed every day and clean bed sheet make one feel comfortable.
