Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandHaving to leave!
Prime location, right opposite the lake. Free access to the Lido Mirabello beach park across a little road where you can get sunbeds looking right on the lake and enter the lake via a number of ladders to swim. Showers, toilets and a beautiful restaurant also available there. A huge selection of food at breakfast. There are 2 breakfast rooms, so breakfast time spans from 7.30am until 11am. A lovely bar by the pool serving snacks, lunch, evening food etc. Entertainment on a number of evenings in that pool area also. The pool is huge and there are numerous sunbeds available. Tea/coffee/biscuits/croissants etc. served under a shaded area every afternoon. A 5 minute walk down a landscaped promenade to the ferry port and to the town centre. All in all, it's hard to find fault with this hotel.

United KingdomNot keen on the public toilets which were all in the basement of the hotel. Also, the toilets for the pool, were flooded at times. That really is the only criticism
Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Location perfect as just across the road from Lake Garda. Breakfast was excellent, with terrific choice. Fantastic swimming pool, large and lots of sun beds. Never had a problem finding one. Liked the Grill Restaurant.

IcelandThe room was ugly and not welcoming. The sheets on the top of the bed were probably used before. The bathroom was old and terrible. There was mold in every corner and between the tiles. The balcony had no view and just some simple plastic furniture. The hotel is very big, there are hundreds of guests. Drunken men in their 40s at the pool after 4pm. The breakfast was horrible, all food of lousy quality and taste. We chose the hotel also because of the private beach, but the woman at the check-in already told us that there will not be space for us, what was true, we had to be just next to the street to go bathing. We booked 3 nights, but left earlier. Would never book here again!
The only positive thing about the hotel is the location.

AustriaRoom too small and no balcony. Unfortunately the hotel is just too big - oversized. Partially our mistake. When choosing the accommodation we did not check the info thoroughly enough.
Very nice pool.

United KingdomIs the 'Grill' poolside bar run independently to the hotel? Her chicken was cold and the sauce was awful and she did'nt eat it! "Un-edible" was the phrase she used. She complained and was told "sorry". Where a refund should have been given!! Lunchtime time today a cold Tuna sandwich was ordered and a ham and cheese sandwich was delivered??? On STALE BREAD.What very poor service again no refund and poorly managed.

AustraliaThe breakfast wasn’t as good as some of the other places we stayed at in Europe. The pool wasn’t always of a standard cleanliness. The rooms weren’t very spacious for three people.
The breakfast wasn’t great, hash browns tasted like they’d been dragged out of the bottom of the freezer, pancakes were rock hard. Some of the breakfast was satisfactory. The proximity to everywhere was fabulous, tucked away and nice and quiet.

AustraliaThe breakfast was horrible and the pool grill restaurant was inedible! The rice was dry and cold, the pasta was cold and gritty. We left our expensive lunch uneaten. The daily breakfast was over cooked and cold. So disappointing when you’re in Italy!
The location and Lido was fabulous! The rooms were clean and appeared to have been renovated! The pool was also amazing.

CanadaParking stalls are a little tight for a larger vehicle. I can't really say that there was anything that we didn't like.
The hotel is a higher end sea side resort. The hotel is fairly modern and very well kept. The location couldn't be any better. The resort has a gorgeous pool area and bar/eatery. It is right beside the lake and there is a pathway from the hotel that goes right beside the lake to downtown. We had both the included buffet breakfast and the evening buffet dinner (22 Euros) per person and I can only say 'WOW'. The room that we booked through Bookings.com was unimpressive. we decided to pay an additional 50 Euro per night and upgraded to a very nice room with a balcony. The extra money was well worth it.

United KingdomThe room was small and dated. One of the wardrobe doors was broken and one of the shower doors was missing completely. Not what you expect when you are paying over £200 per night for bed and breakfast.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

United KingdomOn arrival by private taxi we were offered Room 326 which was nothing like that ordered by you after viewing their web site. It did not include tea/coffee,dressing gowns/slippers,refurbished or complimentary wine. It had a dark balcony which they said was an upgrade. Reluctantly they offered an upgrade to the Room we had booked but had to pay a supplement of 70 euros.
Initially very little

United KingdomWe had a look at the spa one afternoon but it seemed very quiet and there was a notice stating that you need to pay 10 euros to use it. We decided not to. The weather was hot and sunny so I expect most people wanted to be outside.
This is a large hotel in a good location by the lake very close to Bardolino centre with its own large swimming pool and bar/food area. The hotel has an arrangement that guests can also use the lido at the lake side across the road by showing their pass (subject to availability). There were 2 rooms in our booking and we asked that they be close together. They gave us rooms directly opposite each other were but we didn't like one of the rooms because the balcony was overlooking a footpath surrounded by trees. The staff were very helpful and changed our room to a brighter one looking out over the central courtyard with grass and fountains which was much nicer. Although the rooms weren't together now, it wasn't a problem for us and we were still on the same floor. Apparently balcony rooms with 2 single beds are in shorter supply so we were happy they found us a nice room, especially as it was high season. All staff are friendly at breakfast and at the pool bar area. We didn't have any evening meals at the hotel.

United Arab EmiratesDecor is outdated, but that would be fine, except that their policies and procedures are also outdated. Outdoor pool closes at 7pm, in the middle of summer when the sun is still up until to 9pm. Dinner buffet is between 6:30pm-8:30pm. Pool restaurant until 9pm. The TV in the unit is about the size of a desktop monitor. Felt more like a retirement village than a 4 star hotel.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Location was very good.
