The host was very welcoming to every guest, making this stay a fantastic experience. Highly recommended! The overall environment and rooms were very clean and tidy. The space was also large, and there was even a balcony. The swimming pool and sauna were excellent, with no time restrictions. After skiing, it was the perfect way to relax. Breakfast was delicious, with handmade croissants and desserts. Paired with the stunning view, it was a wonderful way to start the day. I truly loved this place—every detail reflected the host’s dedication. I will definitely visit again in the future!

We had an incredible stay at Guest House Le Cassandre in Sondrio. The heated swimming pool and sauna were perfect for winter relaxation. Lucia, the host, was warm and welcoming, preparing a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. The breathtaking view of Sondrio from the hotel made our stay even more special. Highly recommended for a cozy and relaxing getaway!

A little bit hard to reach, but overall an amazing place to stay!

The room was clean, the fridge well equipped and affordable! Parking spot to leave your car. The breakfast was really good, and the staff very polite and eager to help you out with any request! Generally speaking, 150% recommended! 😊

Nothing really - only minor things, like swimming pool ideally being one or two degrees warmer (which is not meant to distract from the fact that the pool is pretty nice), maybe a few additional hangers for towels in the room... really little things

Charming and newly refurbished guest house with an excellent breakfast and great views. Very easy to reach from Sondrio. Very much enjoyed the swimming pool and were very well looked after by the host! Would definitely go again.

The only drawback with this accommodation was the access to the parking space. We had a fairly large car and it was impossible to turn the hairpin bend into the lane where the guesthouse is located. We had to make several manoeuvres to make the turn. Having said that, we loved everything else about the place and Lucia was charming and gracious.

Amazing Hotel!!! Super clean, comfortable and modern place to stay with amazing views and breakfast. The rooms are perfect. The host was super friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. The pool had the perfect temperature to relax in after a busy day. Great location to go for hikes, Mountainbiking or skiing with a good choice of great restaurants within short driving distance. Highly recommend a stay here for anyone in the area.

It was a little bit warm in the room at night (There was a high-temperature warning in the weather forecast), but an enough-sized fan in the room helped the air circulate and helped us go to sleep.

I strongly recommend this place. The overall experience was beyond amazing. When we were still on the way, Lucia (the owner) reached out to me to ask about the estimated time of arrival. Since we were arriving around 7:30pm, she recommended several restaurants for us, and we ended up chosing Osteria 99. And Lucia immediately booked a table there for us. The check-in was very smooth and the parking garage is super spacious, efficient, and clean. We arrived, and Lucia’s greeting was lovely and warm. After we checked in, we headed to the restaurant which was 15 minutes away. The restaurant was crowded, and we wouldn’t have been able to eat right away without reservation. We really appreciated Lucia helped us get a table! The food was fantastic, and we loved the vibe and everything. The hotel has a beautiful pool with warm water and sauna as well. The view from the room was spectacular. They have nice selections of drinks, snacks, and even a free sparkling water fountain! Their complementary blueberries, apples, and apricots are from Lucia’s garden, and they were the best!! The breakfast was beautiful as well. Lucia made us delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. With the breathtaking views, of course. I realized that I accidentally brought the keys to the room with me at the Sondrio station. I messaged and called her feeling really sorry, but Lucia was calm and very generous saying that I could leave the keys at the station so that she could pick them up later. She was unbelievably kind and helpful in any possible ways. I would love to go back to Sondrio and stay there again. It was my favorite place among the entire places I’ve been in Italy.

Could use better internet. But 5G worked great.

The property is brand new. Meticulously clean. There is a great pool, spa steam rooms and homemade breakfast, including freshly squeezed OJ. There is a lot of wonderful seating options to read, rest or have cocktails. The view is beautiful. Above all else, the manager is top notch! Goes above and beyond. They are so lucky to have her. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Depending on the car, you might have a hard time reaching it. For us with a Skoda Octavia it was no issue at all, but I guess it could be more difficult with an SUV or a van, due to the small streets leading to the guest house.

Very nice and new guest house. It is quite small and the staff is very very friendly. Great swimming pool and sauna. The breakfast is superb. The view from the terrace over the mountains is extraordinary.

Best accommodation by far that we've stayed on our road trip in Italy. The owner Lucia goes above and beyond to provide for a comfortable and relaxed stay. Her staff is also friendly and helpful. The quality exceeds most name brand four and even five star hotels. They get all of the small things right and have clearly invested a lot of time, money, and energy to create an exceptional guesthouse with stunning views. The breakfast is baked fresh each day with unlimited coffee, sparkling water, and hand squeezed orange juice. Top quality lenins and mattress and the wifi is strong enough for video calls. Easy surface parking with a garage underneath. We stayed an additional night we enjoyed it so much

The entry street to the hotel is VERY narrow. We barely fit there with the Tesla. Also, the drive-in has two unpleasant bumps, which are unsuitable for low cars. Surprisingly, there was no proper ventilation or air-conditioning in the room. The only access to the air was through the window in the bathroom...

I love the concept of the hotel with its garden. We've got blueberries for breakfast from their orchard. The swimming pool is one of the best ones I've seen. It is covered from rain if needed. The views to the mountains are speechless.
