Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was perfect. Clean room and bathroom, unique location. You can go to most of the main attractions in a 15-20 minute walk. Overall everything was great, highly recommended this host.

There was no one onsite to assist with anything. Everything was done remotely. The wifi was spotty and the tv didn't work.
The location was fantastic and the shower was lovely.

The property itself seems a bit misleading, it feels very much like staying in an individual room within an apartment. The elevator didn’t work, the staff was not present, and the television was not functional. Overall it seems they sell it as a hotel, but make no mistake, it is a private room within an apartment.
The room itself was fine, the bed was large and comfortable and the room was of good size. Room had a coffee maker, a full length mirror and a nice shower.

Property is on 2nd Floor and doesn’t have lift and no assistance as they don’t have reception at the property! also they don’t write or advise you! you only know when you get checkin instructions on the day of checkin. bathroom doesn’t drain and you have pool under shower! they don’t change linens and towels even after requesting for it. all communication is through WhatsApp and no reception! no supplies are topped up. no customer service! aircon doesn’t work properly! all stinking laundry bags in the lobby! very bad communication in terms of location etc! worst hotel or guest house!
except location nothing is good about this property! property is at 2nd floor without lift so you need to climb 2 storeys and they don’t have any assistance at site! they do all things over WhatsApp! there air conditioning doesn’t work, guy on WhatsApp is rude, they don’t change linens, they don’t even complete basic supplies and Bathroom doesn’t drain properly! worst hotel I have seen in my lifetime!

We had to carry our luggage up and down 2 flights of stairs. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues
Location amazing, so close to piazza navona. Room beautifully decorated. Staff helpful when we had problem with shower. And they allowed us to leave our luggage when we arrived early and also on day we left

First night of the stay the AC wasn’t working on a hot night which is fine because the staff responded to my request and fixed it the next day. But the king bed is just two double beds and by the end of the night we were sinking in the middle. Furthermore on the last day a staff member walked in before our checkout time! It was absurd, our checkout time was 11 and she didn’t even knock and unlocked the door and saw we were there and quickly shut it. It seemed like there a family trying to get in next. Really put a bad taste in my mouth
The communication and response time from the people who manage was quick and easy

We read all the reviews prior to our stay, we were aware of the flights of stairs to get to the room, which didn’t bother us and it did not include breakfast, again, this was not a problem as we wanted to visit a bakery we had seen the day before.
This accommodation had excellent location, was modern and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check in and were able to leave our luggage there, which we appreciated. the room was comfortable and met all our requirements.
