Excellent hotel! We spend a week for skiing, it was the best ski vacation ever. The ski lift is near by, 50 m from the hotel with direct acces from the slope. The spa area is very beautiful with an area for everyone with one inside and one outside pool comunicating each other, a baby pool and a jacuzzi, with sauna and hammam. Another area is adult reserved with 2 saunas, jacuzzi pool, kneipp pools and relaxing areas. Tea and water are offered by the hotel with oranges and apples. The appartement is huge with 2 rooms, terrace and a bathroom. Dinner is rafined, delicious and for all tastes. Alpine menu, italian menu and light menu are proposed every evening, but you can choose between dishes. Light lunch is complementary and very good- actually a vegetarian salad bar. Good wines- local and national are proposed for an extra cost. The bar is excellent with great music. Everybody is very kind, I felt like a princess all day long. The manager is very kind, always there and all the hotel crew is top, from the ladies in housekeeping, to the spa experts, reception staff, waiters and bartenders. So, thank you very much for this excellent week, we enjoyed it every single moment!

The fitness room is tiny and poorly equipped. They do not have laundry facilities (for anyone staying longer than three days, while hiking and cycling, that can be a problem). They provide a set menu dinner (with a very generous starter and salad buffet on top); the problem is they attempt to make "fine cuisine" instead of just cooking simple delicious Italian dishes - the result is not quite what it should be.

The resort is well kept, spacious, clean. The sauna and pool area are fantastic. The staff are helpful and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant; they are also incredibly patient with children.

The stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the forest spa was excellent, food was great, the room was large, the view from the terrace was wonderful. The ski area right next to the hotel, ski in - ski out and also the ski storage room is excellent. Above all, I would like to thank you for the birthday surprise at dinner, really thoughtful of you! 🥰Thank you for an unforgettable winter fairy tale experience.

First of all, I would like to say thank you to all the staff at the hotel. I spent beautiful days here. The hotel has a very practical location, only a few meters from the funivia that allows you to start your ski journey suddenly. The variety and quality of the food are excellent in all services, including breakfast and dinner. The stay here as a family is perfect, with different opportunities for kids and their family, such as the swimming pool and other activities for the little ones. Thank you, José

We truly enjoyed staying at Josef Mountain Resort hotel. Staff was wonderful, and helpful with all our inquiries. Food was lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the dinner where three different menus were offered every evening. Light lunch was also offered with pasta, salads and desserts. The hotel is right next to the lift to Merano 2000, which was super convenient, and there are also several hiking trails in the vicinity of the hotel. We travelled with our daughter, and young lady at hotel's Kids Club was great, our daughter happily played there a couple of times per day. There is a nice paddle pool for smaller kids, as well as several additional bigger pools. The Forest Spa area at 4th floor was also lovely with a nice relaxation area and an outside heated pool. We will for sure come again.

We loved everything, from the moment we arrived we felt that we did the right decision, the hospitality was beyond the expectation, the room was big, beautiful design and very clean, the food was tasty also and our waiter was very nice and helpful, the accommodation, facilities, the swimming pool and sauna area were amazing, very good location, close to meran 2000, Bolzano and more beautiful places, thank you for everything, we would definitely love to be back again.

Everything was perfect. The children were impressed by the kindness of the staff. The heated swimming pool was good for children and there was enough space to relax. Breakfast, dinner, sauna, scenery, and music performances were good. Everything is a good place to spend a vacation.

rooms soon need some reurbishment but you can not count this as a minus when you see big picture. Dinner was spectactular in pre-covid times. Now it is still delicious but not exceptional good as before... but still mich better than 5-course "slow-food" which tends to have all other hotela there. We want authentic food not over-play with courses. so therefore I give big plus to Josef while it keep it simple 3-course dinner

We had a room w loft bed so you had to go down a staircase if you wanted to use bathroom in middle of the night. The shower is dated. Whole Bathroom was dated.

They had good AC. Very friendly staff especially Lorenzo the bartender who made wonderful G&T. The pool was great. Parking garage was nice, had a roll up door, very safe. Food was great.

English speaking customers are left quite alone. I’m restaurant it was real trouble for staff to serve us drinks and food. there was lot of food but the quality for this price should be better. very often we received cold food. food for kids was far from tasty..

The food for dinner was terrible. I am from London and love Italian food, however the dinner had no taste, nor flavour. Even asked for the kids menu and it was just awful.
