Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only suggestion I would make would be better sinage from the main road. I found it a little difficult to find initially.
The hosts were fantastic and could not do enough for you. The room was beautifully clean and presented with a great coffee machine. The location was great, in a quiet area but easy to reach the archaeological park and local town. Would highly recommend.

Bedside rugs! (A bugbear of mine)
Room was clean and tidy. Quite close to the centre and the archeological site. Pompeii is a nice little town with some restaurants and cafes even out of season. The site itself is stunning, well worth a visit.

The pillows are a little bit too hight for us, but the bed was confortable.

Location is excellent.It's 5 mins away from the archeological site of Pompeii. Restaurants close by, even a mini market to buy snacks or water. Vincenzo was very responsive and helped us with an early check in. The room was clean and spacious. We never ran out of towels or anything else. The room is equipped with a tv, mini fridge, a kettle and coffee machine. The fridge was full, and prices were well indicated, coffee pods, tea, sugar were also provided. We loved our cup of camomile tea in the evening. The room has a bunk bed, double bed and a single bed. It was excellent for us two since it was very spacious. A very quiet area and parking is also available.

We are very happy we stayed in this place and if we ever come back to Pompeii, we will choose it again. The owner - Vincenzo is a great host, makes you feel welcome and explains everything perfectly. Apartment was great and comfortable, location was perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Pompeii. Thank you so much for hosting us!

All was great, clean room, 5 min walk to Pompeii, the owner Vincenzo was very nice guy, free parking outsite. If i go again to Pompeii i would stay at this place.

Bathrooms without locks are annoying. Pictures on the site are nicer than the reality
The location was great to visit ruins, just a few minutes walk. Parking was available. The host was nice and helpfull

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, A/C worked, and there was parking (the turn into the B&B is very tight). The location was great. A few minutes walking to the Amphitheatre entrance at Pompei and the bus to Vesuvius. A little further (maybe 15 minutes walking) to the train station. Very quiet at night so sleeping was no problem. Would definitely stay here again.

I hadn't realized or I forgot that it was just one large room where we were to stay. It worked out fine for us, but some people may have issues with it.
The location was great. Vincente was very helpful and kind. He stored our luggage for us while we went sight seeing fro a very nominal price. The area was safe and his recommendations for dinner were perfect. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. It was a nice place to stay

Location is top, available parking is great. The owner is most helpful and kind. Since it was raining one day it was very convenient that it has large patio with a roof.

Everything good, just pity the terrace was in shade most of the day so we didn’t get much use of it as still cold in April.

The check-in instructions should have been provided upfront, before arrival. Especially when there's no one there to tell you the instructions on site.
There were some grapevines that had the most delicious grape I've ever tried! The frontyard was quite spacious, loved the cats as well, the coffe machine was good, quite spacious room.
