The bed was not very comfortable (in fact it had been put together wrong and we actually fixed it for them!). The noise from the bar was loud and went on late.

Great location within 5 minutes walk of central Menaggio and amazing view from our room over Lake Como. The bar/restaurant also had a great menu and view.

Comfortable beds, bar restaurant next to it, just 5 minutes walk to the ferry! We asked for a private room rather than dorms if available and they changed it for us, even if it was quite late (10pm). Super helpful!

The bed mattress is very slim so you can feel the frame of the bed while you sleep. It’s definitely not comfortable.

Kitchen actually closes a little earlier than 10pm (time it supposed to close). Old property, it would be amazing to have modern facilities (like kitchen for the guests, living room, larger restrooms) BUT fair price to stay around Lake Como though.

Considering it’s basically a hostel this is excellent value. Great views, parking close by, adjacent to the ferry terminal, and a very short walk into town. It has its own good bar, good pizza, friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff.

The bathrooms and coffee area are in need of some attention. A woman's touch and a little attention to detail would make the leap from 'great' to 'excellent'.

Basically I can't cope with hostels anymore, this is nothing to do with the hostel itself, or the staff. I'm a very light sleeper and find dorms torturous. The dormitory I was in was full and a Corsican guy there was pretty drunk, though not unpleasant, but I felt a bit uneasy. Then another guest came in at 2.55 am rather noisily. I didn't get a wink of sleep till about 5 am and I got out of there handy to Bellagio where I'd booked a hotel. The hostel supplied food, but nothing that I could eat ( vegan), but this is a common theme for me, and vegans are poorly catered for in Italy anyway, so I can't blame the hostel for this.

The location was fine,5 minutes up from the ferry terminal. The dormitory had a superb view across the lake. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bar had some nice beers ( better than the usual Italian fare) and had a good atmosphere.

Odd that the restaurant area closes for half the day and there is no real communal area to hangout if it’s cold outside. Overall quite run down and needs some deep cleaning.

We loved having an included breakfast, but we would have appreciated more fresh food like eggs or fruit! It was a lot of bread items.

We loved the location - it has beautiful views and is so close to the ferry! We thought the room amenities were good for the price we paid. The staff was very nice, and we also loved eating at and studying in the restaurant downstairs.
