Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was a bit small.
Florence is an amazing city, the location is excellent, walking distance from pretty much anything of interest. The hotel lobby is not right at the entrance of the building, is a little further inside, some people may miss it at first sight. It's a classic place, I really felt like I was in old Florence.

Breakfast staff member was a bit short the first few days but we had a different staff member on the last day who made up for the previous staff member's behavior. The rest of the staff was great.
The rooms were a good size, beautifully decorated, clean, great location. They offered laundry services which was extremely helpful.

There was no coffee machine which was a bit of a downer considering Italy has the best coffee. We requested for a water kettle which was promptly brought to our room
This was very near the train station so it's easy to move around Florence. We booked a tour early the next day and it was a breeze to go to the meeting point. There are 2 supermarkets nearby so it's easy to buy stuff we need for our stay. The mercato centrale plus the open market selling various souvenirs to bring home (bags, scarves and other stuff) was also very near.

Our bed and pillows were extremely hard. The breakfast was good, but more fruit and a variety of main courses from day to day would much improve it.
Great location close to the train station. Restaurants, Duomo, David, Last Supper, and Hop on Hop Off bus stop. Staff was extremely accommodating. We were disappointed in our room and the staff moved us to a perfect room.

Breakfast options were a bit limited.
Very friendly staff, generous sized room with a nice bathroom. The hotel is just a 5min walk from the main train station, tram to the airport, and a 10 min walk from the cathedral. The area was safe with plenty of cafes, supermaket and restaurants.

At times the air conditioning did struggle a little in the intense heat,
Wonderful staff. Ilaria and Antonio at the front desk were fabulous. They did everything possible to enhance our stay in Florence, by assisting us to book tours, recommended some great restaurants and generally were a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel is less than five minutes walk from the main train station, the hop on hop off bus has a stop directly across the road and is right in the centre of the main restaurant and market area. For an old hotel, we would give it ten out of ten.

Very convenient to the central station, just a short walk. The hotel does not have its own bar but we understood that before booking and so that was absolutely fine for us. The room was really nice and the bathroom the best part being spacious and new. Cannot fault the place, enjoyed the old lift to our floor, perhaps and issue for some but not for us. staff very friendly and helpful.

The bath in our bathroom wasn't working. Could have done with more cupboard space

Breakfast was mediocre. You can probably find better places for breakfast with the same price. The walls were thin, a lot of noise coming from other rooms. Also, they want you to pay the city tax in cash so be aware.
Location was excellent very close to the train station. Also there was a carrefour and Mcdonald’s nearby. Staff were helpful.

It is literally in the city center but still out of the limited traffic zone, which it makes it extremely convenient either if you get there by car or train. The parking spot was a great perk. The building is really nice and the room was very spacious and even had a jacuzzi. The staff was extremely nice and helpful

Maybe a few extra pillows in the cupboard for 3 people occupancy - 1 extra is not enough.
Hotel located within walking distance to many attractions, shops and restaurants. Very surprised that the hotel had modernised the bathroom and the rooms decorated very nicely. The breakfast was very nice and the lady in charge of the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful. She worked nonstop replenishing food, cleaning and resetting tables. The staff member at reception was very friendly and helpful. He was especially helpfully when we were trying to park our very large vehicle inside the hotel’s quadrant. Night Security at the hotel was also great.
