Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds were disappointing. Mattresses are solid and therefore not comfortable. The sheet/blanket combination is very old-fashioned and needs updating. Waiting staff could be a lot more friendly and welcoming.
Very good breakfast, with good timings. Generous-sized room with a bath, which was very welcome. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced

Room was lovely and staff were excellent. Very easy to get the bus to the hotel from the station. It’s about 20-25 minute walk from the centre of Verona but the walk is pleasant. Breakfast very nice! Thank you!

Train station only accessible by car otherwise, long walk and not as close to city center but all in all a very nice stay

The bathroom kit was empty, just shoe cleaning aponge thats all. Just typing that to type sth.
They upgraded our room because it was our anniversary! Staf was really helpful, the room was all clean. The bed was huge! Bathroom was perfectly clean, everything was ready even gilet, sewing kit.

Location was a bit remote, I maybe should have realised but there wasn't much in the local vicinity. I knew we were out of the main town and would need to get a bus in to town but other than a mcdonalds across the road, limited on restaurants for the evening - the hotel restaurant seemed a bit fancy for us!
The room was lovely, once we'd been moved. We had a much older room with a shower over the bath when we first arrived but I asked if we could be moved to a room with a walk in shower as that's what I'd seen online. The lady on reception quickly changed our room for us without any hassle. We had to pay an extra €5 per person per night but it was well worth it for the better room and a walk in shower. Nice breakfast and attentive staff.

Well organized, room was perfect, bathroom also and shower works perfectly (nowadays something difficult to be found). In the room Caffè and water always present, bed very comfy. Breakfast was great and abundant.

Our rooms were by the main road. Traffic noisy all night. Draft in room due to windows being old and single pane

I think it should be made clear that the spa isn't free and you can only use if you pay.

In our short stay at the hotel, we had no complaints

The bedroom was on the main street and there was too much noise. The windows could also not be open as tgey were a bit broken. The bedroom furniture looks a bit old and the matress was not good.
