The self check-in procedure gave me diffulties and was an uncharming experience. Relatively far from the centre.

Clean and spacious. The building has an interesting history. Self produced leaflets with suggestions about where to go in southern Puglia and how to get there.

The breakfast was very nice and I met so many nice people to hang out with. It's also very near to all the beautiful city's at the coast, like monopoli, gallipoli etc.

For me I would have preferred if the toilets and showers were in the same room.

Clean bedsheets and very nice staff. Old city center can be reached by ~15-20 mins walk (was safe at night as well for me). I liked that the kitchen was very big, clean and the front yard was also a good space to relax in the evening. The hostel also has a couple of terraces to spend time outside. Even through it's further from the center I can recommend this place, it's a good value for the money.

The direct neighborhood is a bit noisy and not too nice

The entire place was very clean (bedrooms, bathrooms, common rooms) ! I really enjoyed the common rooms with all necessary facilities. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good and elaborated.

the rooms vare incredibly well organise with good use of space, the lounge is super nice and the outdoors also has a lovely place to chill and talk. Breakfast was amazing!

I don't like the separately additional costs (like late check-in, luggage storage etc.). In my opinion, it is better to include them into the rate. But if you know it, it's not a problem :)

The owner of the hostel was very helpful and tried his best to tell us everything we need to know to have a pleasant stay. The vibe of the hostel is also good - the other guests were also very socialable so we had a good time

Their heating was not working. Even the hostel volunteers were not able to turn on the heating. Everyone in the hostel was complaining how cold it was in the night.

The location was nice. Not very far from the city. Hostel was very clean and had the 2 best dogs.

Despite paying top dollar for a room with air conditioning, I spent both of my nights at the hostel sweating profusely instead of sleeping. This made my stay in Lecce extremely uncomfortable and unenjoyable.I addressed my concerns to the staff after the first night and was met with much apologies, however they did not fix the problem and did not ensure the AC would work the following night as promised.

Staff is pretty friendly, kitchen is well equipped and there are areas to sit and relax outside.

- in the bathroom, walls are completely covered by mould !! - bathroom is totally impractical : only 2 showers and no space to get changed - mattress was uncomfortable - unable to set the aircon - the room was dusty when I came on but the following day the cleaning lady put my backpack on the top of the locker to clean the floor. When I reached my backpack, a huge amount of dust came up from underneath ! - I struggled to check in due to poor phone and wifi at reception - no reliable touristic info given due to low season - a bit far out - a bit pricey for what it is & breakfast wasn’t included

Not enough showers, distance out of old town. Breakfast was decent but not always ready at the time it was advertised, meaning I was either late for the airport or I didn’t get to eat breakfast- staff didn’t seem too bothered about this.

Large, clean rooms. Air conditioning that was sensibly controlled. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast included.

I was in a mixed dorm with baths down the hall. The AC only worked from 8 pm to 8 am and for some reason would go off occasionally if it thought the room was empty (which it wasn’t). Was hot in the summer and not much circulation. The bathroom showers were steam city and the floor was ALWAYS wet. It would be nice to have trash cans in the bedrooms instead of all the way down the hall. Also had I researched better I would have stayed elsewhere. It’s about 30-40 min walk into the city walls of old town and 25-30 mins to the train station. It’s so far that I often didn’t go back into town for dinner (which would have been nice)

Liked having breakfast each morning though a bunch of carbs and some not fresh fruit isn’t the best option, it at least filled my belly. There is a grocery store right down the street which is nice.

Somehow the bathroom floods and the location is pretty far from city center. Although the staff is super helpful they live at the hostel and they steep in the costumers bedroom which make hard to feel the hostel atmosphere. It wasn’t social either.

They gave me the wrong key and then complained the next day that I was in a wrong bed. I had to leave that key in the socket of a shared room otherwise there was no power and could not charge my phone overnight. The shower was awful, the hot water came and went

It is too far from the city center, takes 35 minutes by foot.

The breakfast can be more healty by adding some eggs, cheese and vegetables like domates plus olives.. Come on you are in Italy. What is the place of eating biscuits and packaged tart in méditerranéen diet.. You should definitely replace them with nutricious options. The evening events and music were not good enough to energise people.

it was spacious and common areas were very useful for remote workers like me. The personnel was very kind. Very clean.

There was a noise coming from the garden. I woke up several times.

The hostel is 25m walking distance to the Lecce old town. It ıs a little far. But there are facilities that you might get need near the hostel such as supermarket, laundry service etc. You can access all the information and itineraries including how to reach to city center by bus, where to eat, drink etc. in the reservation page.

Don't let my negative comments desuade you from booking a room here, it can possibly be bad/busy day for the hostel, however need to be honest with my review. Room was smelly, and other people's bed sheets needed to be changed cause they were there for a couple of days. I missed breakfast cause I had a train at 8 to catch, so If possible breakfast timing should be changed to earlier like start at 7 or 7:30 am.

Host was nice and informative.
