Very big bathroom, very very comfortable beds. The room decorations were very special and beautiful. Location was amazing, near the center but very quiet. 500 m from cathedral.

The breakfast was a very standard continental breakfast, a couple of touches personal to the hotel would have really improved it. The wi-fi was very patchy.

Excellent location, a five minute walk from the Duomo. The hotel was beautiful and traditional and my room was absolutely gorgeous. The air conditioning was very good too. The staff were extremely friendly.

If you stay in the annex you have to go to another building to get to the reception and breakfast room. A bit too hard beds. The toilet flush was a bit hard to use.

Historical feeling in the hotel and rooms, just the right feeling for Florence. Of course everything is not new, but it’s clean and works well. Very friendly staff and breakfast was good.

super location (3 minutes walk to Duomo!), super design/atmosphere and architecture!! feels like you're in the Medici time. very nice breakfast in yet another nice room! rooms are nice, some standard rooms are not big - nr 20 for example is less big than room number 22 - but both these rooms are situated at the back of the hotel so you don't have the noise of the big square on the front of the hotel - we could even hear the birds singing in the morning. hotel itself is pretty noisy due to old / wooden doors etc but it's worth the stay!

Hotel room was not in Hotel… was in another building in a different street .when complained we were told it’s an annex as described on our confirmation. Description of annex is that it’s connected to the main building…. Definitely not the case. Room was tired and shabby, suggest needs some work … to match the same standard as what we saw in the actual hotel! Maybe the annex is where they stick the booking.com customer! Staff were not bothered when we explained that we were not happy with the room.

The Hotel is next to the University and at night all the students sit on the steps outside the hotel drinking and partying, which is fine unless you can’t sleep for 3 days because of the incredible noise right outside the window, amplified by the large Piazza-even with ear plugs. That was a real shame.

Beautiful Authentic Room with a view vibes. A great location for everything with lovely staff!

We were housed in a room that was in another property a short walk away. It was unique and the room and bathroom was large and comfortable. We paid extra to be housed in the main building the next day but that room's aircondioner was not working well and the bathroom was very small.

The lady who checked us in was an excellent staff. Wish I took her name.

The shower was tight and a bit dangerous in the smaller of the two. And the air conditioning did not work well.

The hotel was beautiful. We had two bathrooms and oversized living area, and the decor was beautiful. We had plenty of closet and dresser space.
