Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryThe accommodation was excellent, and Franceska was incredibly kind and helpful in every way. Our room (deluxe suite) was spacious and comfortable in every aspect, well-equipped with air conditioning, a safe, a large bathroom, and a huge double bed. The breakfast area was always stocked and accessible, which was a big plus—we really appreciated it. When booking, I mentioned that I am gluten-sensitive, and they handled it smoothly, providing gluten-free options for me in the kitchen. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this place and can only recommend it to everyone!

GermanyTrastevere is a nice part of Rome to stay, not too expensive, not luxurious, but with a lot of good, decent restaurants and if you are good at walking, it‘s no problem to just walk to the city. In Lorenz Suites, the host, Francesca, was very friendly and helpful, always responded quickly, it was clean, there is everything you need, and you can use the kitchen whenever you want. I would definitely recommend this Place.

GreeceThe kitchen was fully stocked. It was also open all day, if you wanted to use it. Even though the hotel was a little outside the center. the choice of restaurants that were recommended were v.good . Bus routes were exactly outside the hotel. Very quick and easy. Francesca is an excellent host. Extremely friendly and approachable with any questions you may have.

United StatesI loved the second room we stayed in more than the first, simply because it was roomier. But both were very comfortable.
The rooms are extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen is open 24/7 with a nice array of sweets, cereal, coffee, and other snacks. The rooms are on the bottom floor, with windows that open onto a courtyard, making one feel safe. The owner was very nice and accommodating. My daughter was being seen at the Salvador Mundi International Hospital, an easy five minute walk from the Suites.

AustraliaShower recess was tiny and slippery and beneath the sliding door needed attention.
The host went out of her way to care for us, book taxis and wait with us until we were picked up. The self-serve kitchen was a bonus.

LuxembourgNothing comes to mind, we loved this place.
This little family run suites/hotel has a kitchen where there are facilities you can use, but there were also delicious pies and pastries that you could have any time of the day. The owner and her son could not have been more helpful. The room itself was artistically designed with sumptuous decor. We arrived late but there was a restaurant right around the corner still serving very nice food.

CanadaThe host was amazing. So kind and friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast each morning was a big plus. The location is peaceful and quiet, more of a residential area. It’s a close walk to the Trastevere area where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a bus station just outside the door which can take you directly to the train station and into the heart of Rome. Also not far to walk to all the major sites.

BulgariaThere was constant dampness in the room, maybe because of the ground floor, we had to keep the windows open all the time. Other than this, no complaints
Nice location - quiet and clean neighbourhood. Away from the tourist traffic. Public transport a bit scarce Clean apartment, quiet and big enough.

Romanianothing to add here!
Francesca was a sweetheart! Instructions to get into the apartment at night were easy, Francesca was very nice, and the location of the apartment was so convenient! The apartment is in walking distance to many attractions and close to bus stations. It makes visiting super-easy. The distance though is perfect, because it's quite protected of the noise and chaos that you can find downtown. All in all, great stay, lovely time!

United StatesIt would have been more comfortable if the bed had been higher off the floor. The towels were a bit on the thin side, but that is more of an Italian thing probably than anything. The breakfast was really just cereal and packaged baked goods. Again, I'm not sure if this is just typical, or if I just have different expectations as an American.
Very close to American University of Rome, excellent value for the money, air conditioning. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. I was able to arrange a ride to the airport very easily through her. The area is very safe and walkable, with lots of bars, cafes, grocery options, restaurants, and other shopping, all within a 10 minute walk or less. Also easily accessible by bus to the center of the tourist district. This is much more of a residential area, so none of that clamor and confusion that goes along with all of those tourists. I will definitely plan on staying here the next time I'm in Rome.
