Beautiful rural location overlooking the Val di Funes and Santa Magdalena, just outside and above the town (about a 15 minute walk, though we just used a car). Nice view from the terrace. It was very clean and the bed on the main floor was very comfortable (we didn’t use the upstairs bedroom). We loved hearing the cow bells from the apartment! The kitchen was well stocked and the place was quite comfortable to stay in.

The location of this house is superb where you can overview the whole valley of Funes from the balcony. All our friends like the house very much. We stayed there for two nights. Very quiet and spacious. It is a loft with one 4pc washroom on the main floor and 2 pc washroom on the 2nd floor.And a washer is very helpful.

Wonderful position, walking distance from the bus stop for zannes alm. 10 min walk to St John church view point. Clean, nice and quiet place. Mario the host is very nice and keen to solve any problem. Beds was very comfortable

This place is one of the most idyllic places I’ve ever stayed: location and the lodging itself. It overlooked Santa Maddalena and probably has the most stunning views of the whole valley. Thank you Mario for giving me and my husband the best honeymoon ever. I don’t think I’ll ever find a place that tops this one!

Great location and view. bus 330 stop is within 10 minutes walking. Great view of the valley in front. Here itself is picturesque. Very spacious rooms. Quick responses though we did not meet the host in person.

If you don’t drive by yourself, the road from the bus station to the apartment is uphill, and it is difficult to drag luggage. You have to be careful, so if you can provide a pick-up service from the bus station to the apartment It's more perfect. In addition, there is a washing machine provided but I don't know how to operate it. It is recommended to provide operating instructions.

The accommodation environment is excellent, the view from the apartment is very good, and the facilities are fully equipped.

A few things to note for fellow travelers: 1) You likely noticed different price based on headcount, which implies that bedding is provided based on that. Let’s say if you have 4 people like us - expect to see only 2 beds with sheets. Therefore if you prefer spreading out to all 3 beds, you likely want to contact the property and pay for that. 2) the google/apple map location is close but not exact. It’s one house further down than the gps location. Make sure you see the sign on the house. We pulled into neighbor’s parking at first and they were kind to redirect us. 3) as many have said, the upstairs is an attic and you may be bumping your head if not careful. We still appreciate having that extra half bath upstairs.

The property is close to key sites in town. It’s uphill so some may not think it’s walkable to town, but we still like the fact that driving would only take 5-10 min to any key attractions. As many have said, the view is great if the weather is nice. The key thing is - there really aren’t many house rentals in St Magdalena if you decided to stay in this town, and this is one of those rare ones with a washing machine and 2br/1.5ba. If you’re traveling with a larger group, this is definitely a great option with reasonable price. The owner is easily accessible over phone or WhatsApp.

The walls are a bit thin so if you are unlucky and get noisy neighbours, you get to hear quite a lot.
