The location was perfect, and Maria was an excellent host. The bed was comfortable, and the common area was well-equipped. Whatever we needed, we received without hesitation.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and you feel very welcome since the moment you enter it. Spotless and very conveniently located in the heart of Bologna. Synthetic duvet cover which got very hot and clammy. Cotton would have been so much better. Breakfast good but would be nice to have some variety for longer stayers.

Location was excellent in the heart of old town without the tourist crowds. Host was fantastic and welcoming and went out of her way to attend to our needs. B&B was very nicely updated with contemporary décor within a traditional building. Hot breakfast is not offered, but there is coffee, tea yogurt and fruit available. Host provides coupon for breakfast at restaurant nearby.

We loved our night here in Bologna! Maria was an absolute gem and we felt very well looked after by her. The room was stylish and comfortable but you really feel like you are staying in the whole apartment as Maria is so welcoming. We were able to drop our bags off in the morning and then return at a convenient time for check in. Overall a really great experience and different from just an average hotel stay.

Everything is satisfying.

Super quiet accommodation located in the heart of central Bologna, with a convenient less-than-10-min’s walk to reach any tourist site. Interior decorations are quite artistic, cleaning conditions 10/10. Plus the super friendly and welcoming host Maria gave me the recommendation to visit the gorgeous city which was so clear and helpful, that made my stay here an absolute enjoyment. Love the place and would highly recommend it. If chances permit, hopefully I could come back and stay here again for more days.

Shower was a little small and awkward shape, nothing major.

From the moment we walked in, my partner and I felt right at home! Maria was such a wonderful host, she gave us recommendations for restaurants, things to do and see for the duration of our stay. The common area was stacked with fruit, water and yogurts which was such a nice touch. The room was really cute and clean, location could not have been any better. Would definitely recommend Mars41 B&B, and will definitely be back in our next visit to Bologna.

We had a car so there was no parking. The nearest parking lot is about an 8-10 minute walk. Other than that, everything was great!

This B&B is located within the historic center of beautiful Bologna! We loved the building which seemed typical in the area but inside, the flat was fully renovated with a lot of artwork and books/resources for guests. Maria, the host checked us in and gave us an orientation and helpful hints about the city. It is her flat that she converted into a B&B. Maria is a smart and sweet woman. We had a room with direct access to a balcony that overlooked the center building courtyard. There is a full kitchen which I'm sure you will not use because, well, you're in Bologna! She provides cold still and sparkling water in the refrigerator and yogurt. There is an excellent instant espresso machine with some cookies in the kitchen. Breakfast is a ticket to a café about a minute's walk on Via Marsala (on the same street where the B&B is located). You can have the coffee of choice, fresh squeezed orange juice, a simple pastry and toast (which is really a ham/cheese sandwich) and yogurt with honey. Good working AC for those hot Bologna nights. There is no elevator but the B&B is located on the first floor. We asked for a late check out and she granted it plus allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out.

Easily accessible apartment based in the old town of Bologna. Hidden behind one of those large doors that you always wonder what's it like, and we weren't disappointed. Quiet, spacious, modern, well equipped and a lovely welcome from Maria, who couldn't have been more helpful and who gave us some great recommendations on what to visit. We loved our three days spent in Bologna, it had a wonderful laid back vibe, with very little traffic in the old town

Great location, great hairdryer, spacious, very friendly host who did everything to help us. The breakfast was at a different location, but she set us a breakfast the last morning, since we had to leave early to the airport, she also called the taxi for us. She also gave us a lot of insights and suggestions about the city.

For those who have mobility challenges, please note that one would need to climb two flights of stairs to get to the front door of the B&B. There is no elevator access, which did not bother me at all, but thought it is important to point out.

Excellent location - about 20 min walk from the train station. Points of interests, coffee bars, restaurants, grocery stores are all within walking distance. Hosts are welcoming and helpful - they are very accommodating and offered los of tips/recommendations upon my arrival. Coffee/tea/water as well as fresh fruits are always available in the common area - very thoughtful. Very easy to communicate via WhatsApp - the hosts are very responsive. My room is spacious, has direct access to the baloney facing the small but beautiful courtyard. Facilities are clean and very nicely decorated. Will return. Highly recommend!
