Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RussiaIncompetent stuff who cannot speak a word in English. We were staying one day in the morning there was no electricity, the hotel not only suggested a compensation but didn’t even apologize for inconveniences. Not recommended to stay.

GreeceThe room is small and very old, expect the minimum from the pictures, same staff from the picture but nothing to compare with the reality. Also the stuff from the hotel is making a lot of noise by talking outside the room , and the door of the room is so old you can hear everything.
The location was good as it is 5’ from termini station and from there you can find bus every 15’. Also not far from city centre

BulgariaThe rooms need some minor maintenance. There was a broken electric socket, and some of the bathroom's metal parts were covered in rust. The staff doesn't speak English, so it is hard to communicate with them. Also, to receive an invoice from this place is impossible (10 days and still no invoice).
The room size was decent, and it was cleaned every day.

Dominican RepublicI recently had the misfortune of spending several nights in what could only be described as a sardine can masquerading as a 3-star hotel room. Never before have I been ensnared in such a cramped, uncomfortable, and wholly dissatisfying environment. The space was so restrictive, it felt less like a room and more like a closet forgotten by time. The room, if you can even deign to call it that, was barely enough to contain the bed, which itself was a relic of bygone days. Small, uncomfortable, and seemingly ancient, it served as a nightly reminder of the inherent troubles lurking within this establishment. Attempting to open two suitcases within this confined space was akin to playing a game of Tetris, where the only winning move was not to play. The struggle to maneuver around this tight, inconvenient space was a daily ordeal, underscoring the sheer impracticality of the room’s design. The lack of basic amenities, such as soap for the shower, only further highlighted the severe shortcomings of this establishment. One would expect even the most basic hotels to provide such fundamental items, but alas, this hotel seems to revel in its ability to disappoint at every turn. In summary, this hotel, with its cramped quarters, ancient bed, and lack of essential amenities, was a glaring example of discomfort and dissatisfaction. This 3-star establishment not only failed to meet the bare minimum standards but seemed to actively defy the concept of hospitable accommodation. The experience was a stark reminder that stars, in this case, are not indicative of quality, comfort, or even basic decency.
The position is very strategic, at 1 minute walking to termini station

MontenegroA few days after the reservation, I received a message from the hotel through the Booking application that I have to pay the same amount again in order to confirm the reservation and that it will be refunded after that, even though I paid the amount without tax immediately during the reservation. It was a hacker attack where my credit card information was stolen. The hotel manager told me that this had already happened to one of their clients. So beware of these scams because they may continue. Thanks to my bank and the police, I managed to get my money back. Booking's Customer Service did not respond at all to my complaints regarding the aforementioned situation.
The accommodation was great and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was great.

Francethe total absence of light in the building, the uncomfortable bed, the flat pillows, the very old furniture in the room, the absence of glasses in the bathroom and toilet paper (!!), the cleanliness of the room, the complete absence of water (from the sink and shower and toilet) when we woke up in the morning. The pictures we saw on Booking didn't correspond to what we actually found.
unfortunately nothing... Maybe the location near the station, even if the neighborhood is not safe nor nice.
