The heater was warm as hell and was no way to regulate it. Beds are not confortable, small and not the cleanest place I ever been (I mean, it wasn't the dirtiest neither)

Is a "cheap" hotel (for venice standards) and you recieve what you pay for. So no expect much of it so you will not get disappointed. The people in the hotel were nice (also... Venice standards)

The door for our room was broken and you could clearly see outside , there was a hair on the toilet seat , the shower was tiny and the room looked similar to the photo but run down , it didn’t smell great .ive stayed at this hotel before and the room in the main building was lovely , this time i paid for a deluxe room and it was a run down room with a broken door I was not impressed it was only for one night so I just dealt with it .I did not feel safe with the door and had to wedge something up against it

The location was lovely , and where it is right next to the canal is very nice

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my brother & sister in law but I have to say this was an awful experience. The room was facing the bin yard, double bed was made of two single beds, uncomfortable. In the pic on your web page, the room looked tidy and I booked with the view to the city but when they arrived they got placed in an ugly room instead. Wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be back.

    Staff was friendly and helpful

They offered a breakfast buffet, but in reality, it wasn't a buffet; there was no self-service as there were no other customers. We paid €12 for a few things (nothing fresh except the orange juice). The carpet in the room smelled bad and was dusty. I could hear the neighbors throughout the night, which was uncomfortable. The shower took ages to get hot water. There was no remote control to set the air conditioner temperature. The bed was clean but uncomfortable, and everything looked old. Definitely not worth the price.

The location was ok because it was very close to the canals,

There was no hot water on any of the three mornings we awoke. First morning, it was freezing cold. We mentioned this to staff and were initially told 'sometimes this happens'. Indeed. Very useful, however, they said that they would look into it. But, following morning it was no better. They said they didnt understand and would look into again. However, third and final morning it was still cold. By then, it was too late. Very disappointing given the cost of the hotel.

    The location was excellent.

The room we stayed in was cramped. Other rooms must not have had a bathroom and had to use shared facilities with a door that constantly slammed shut - which was not nice when you are trying to sleep. The morning staff clearly did not like foreigners.

There was a canal view. The afternoon/evening staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious and would recommend it. We received 40% off our evening food which was a nice surprise.

The room was sealed (windows bolted shut) no fresh air and the temperatures in the room made us unwell. The air-conditioning was off, and when we asked for it to be switched on, it went to heat (we were not given the remote control). We all overheated in Sept/Oct. We would have been okay with no air-conditioning, but windows need to be open for airflow. Room 26 has a private bathroom, but it is down the hall. The room had a sink, no mini bar for cold water/snacks. Travel light, as there is no elevator, and the stairs are narrow to manage luggage.

The location was the saving grace. The restaurant attached to main building was reasonably priced with the in-house guest discount. The restaurant staff were really pleasant.

Better attention from room cleaners replacing used items and removing empty and used items. Fixing shutters and power outlets. Didn't like hearing snoring - and more - from next room. (Not much they can do about that)

Room: Paper cups supplied but removed and not replaced after day 2; power plug next to bed broken; shutters broken and wouldn't completely close - been like that for some time, so light in the morning - no thick curtains; liquid shampoo not replaced; toilet broke but was fixed immediately by friendly plumber. Walls paper thin. Woken by man in next room snoring. Staff helpful, friendly. Restaurant: very good indeed except very small portion of shrimp. Unbelievably good value as they give guests 40 percent discount including on wine. Location: Superb.

Room was extremely small, so small we had nowhere to unpack bags or store anything.Bed was only a few inches off each wall so had to enter and exit the bed from the end. Room was very stuffy and no A/C control, if you wanted to change the settings or turn it on or off you had to call reception and they would send somebody with a remote and they would change it then take the remote with them.

Staff were very good and the restaurant served a very good meal.

The pictures of the room look nothing like the real thing - we paid over £200 for 2 nights for a small room that ended up having no natural lighting, there were ants all over the room. There was also no remote for the air conditioning or the television so we could not control either. The cleaners also opened our bedroom door twice during our stay when we were still asleep - door was unable to manually lock from inside.

Very well located and lovely restaurant by the canal. Food excellent and staff very helpful and pleasant.

Already in the hall we saw white paint stains on the stairs (carpet), and then we came into narrow, almost claustrophobic room with dark red walls and the same, very used carpet. The smell was not very nice. Beds were very old and VERY uncomfortable. The socket was ripped out of the wall and even after reporting it (3 times) at the reception, it was not repaired during our stay. For such a high price for the room it was an absolute no-go

Good located, easy ways to city center and places of interest
