There was no A/C in the kitchen, which meant that cooking during the summer months gets very hot. However, the kitchen was well-equipped, even with salt and oil at hand.

Miki's home is strategically located near the train station, making it a convenient place to be near the airport or as a base to explore out of Bari. Miki was highly attentive and answered all of my messages with delight, going as far as providing me with some laundry detergent as I did not have any! Miki also booked us an early morning taxi, within minutes of our request. The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The balcony was cute!

A very accommodating and friendly host, and a lovely apartment, kept very clean and very up to date. It’s in an incredibly convenient location, near to bus stops, the train station, supermarkets and the harbour. The host even allowed us to store our luggage through the day after checking out, which was incredibly generous. Would stay here again if visiting Bari :)

There was no small reading lamp next to the bed, but we managed and it wasn’t a big deal.

Miki was a friendly and welcoming chap who speaks English very well, and recommended us some great local restaurants. The facilities were clean and the location isn't too far from the beach or from the city centre, where places were more expensive. I also liked that there were two separate, proper beds in our room (a single and a double, as opposed to a bed and a sofa bed!) as I was travelling with a friend as opposed to a partner.

It was a little bit far from the beach in Bari, and the walls are pretty thin, you can hear the other guests’ noises.

Everything was clean, the host is really nice and helped us with everything. The equipped kitchen is a huge plus. He let us to leave our luggages earlier there, and recommended us a great restaurant to eat while the rooms were getting cleaned.

I recently stayed at Miki’s Home during my trip in Puglia, and it was an excellent experience. The room was very large, spacious, and impeccably clean. The host was incredibly kind and always ready with useful recommendations for places to visit and things to do in the area. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of staying in Bari. The accommodation exceeded our expectations (shared bathroom was sparkling clean!). The host Mike deserves 7* rating! I don't find any cons. Standard was fair for the price, everything was renowed, clean and comfortable.

Miki was a great host. He was polite and kind and let us in a moment earlier so we could leave our backpacks and explore the city. He also had great food recommendations. We really appreciate the hospitality. We could also leave our backpacks after check out and before our bus to other city which was in the late afternoon.
