Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One of te receptionist was harsh with a client and she was shouting loud and was disturbing the peace of other clients who are sleeping,these particular receptionist always shout at clients which is not right ,......customers are always right...thank uu

So loud guests, cold room, window wasn’t closing totally, so was cold in the room. Heater was working but loud as an airplane, so you need to choose if you want to sleep in cold or don’t sleep because of noise. I couldn’t uncover the window because outside was patio and everyone could look in my room.

the facility need to provide kitchen for long stay,this is just suggestion aside from this its the best hostel in Milan,the best.....has no comparison cheap and cleaniness.

so comfortable beds never seen before ,bed with wood clean sheets and comfortable bed .no sound . even with extra sheet you can cover your bed so no one can see you ,private. toilets were clean too. staff I met was speaking good English and she was nice I guess she was Filipina.

Since I’m big I would like a bigger towel but it’s my mistake for not taking it with me.
We received what we were expecting. So 10/10, cheap, easy to find and you can park for free around the place.

The room for 4 was so tight that there was no healthy ventilation for a safe and healthier accommodation, It was very pathetic, like I have never been to an hostel before, do you have to look down on everyone, thinking everyone are the same as homeless people that ran into your hostel, I was forced to sleep in the city center just to be punctual for my appointment in the Questura the following morning.
Total dissapointed, It took me 39minutes walk to locate the Structure from Caiazzo where I started my journey, unfortunately because the green line Metro was shut down, meanwhile at getting the Hostel, those receptionist were actually nice as the Italian tradition of (fake warm reception) they actually attended to me and gave me the room key where they already kept one of 2 Junkie that was smelling so stinky and sounding unhealthy that I couldn't bear it but ran out immediately back to the reception to seek help, but unfortunately they claim they can't help claiming there hostel is full meanwhile I still noticed 1 room left on Booking.com where I secure my payment. Fortunately for me as a foreigner in Italy, I made my payment through Paypal, I am 100% guaranteed that I will get my money back, I advice any travelers to deal with Italian purchase with a secured payment like Paypal, 60% of this people are right even when they are being stupid and inhuman, they frustrated me alot yesterday.

Would never stay there again and I don't recomend as the main goal when you are traveling is for you to sleep, and we could not. There were a room doing a party, screaming on the halls, using megaphones, slamming doors, and the reception just keep saying they called the police but they never came. I asked for another room or for reimbursement they didn't do any of that. If someone is not respecting the local policies you need to sent them away. And it wasn't the first time. Another guest said it was the second night that they were acting like this.
The room has a good size, the matress is ok, and the shower has a good heat

- Common spaces were not heated, so the shower/ bathroom trip were rather swift and chilly - The dining area doesn’t have cutlery and plates. You can ask for plastic ones at the reception but that was not very practical for tea making. You can use the kettle and the microwave, no other kitchen facilities available. Only coffee and food vending machines. - It’s a 35 mins tram ride to the Duomo
We don’t usually book accommodation under 8 but this was a last minute booking and I must say better than some 8+ rated properties, especially for the Italian market. We had the twin room - Super comfortable beds!! - Strong radiator- the room was hot after 5 mins of it on. - Very clean- from the common spaces, bathroom, shower to the rooms. - Convenient location near Milan Lambrate train station which helped us reach Bergamo in 40 mins, without having to go to Milan Centrale -delicious cafes, bakeries and even a Lidl in less than 5 mins walk - good internet - 24hrs hours reception with super friendly staff, perfect English

No breakfast included. No shared kitchen, but there is a microwave in a very large, cold dining area. Bathrooms are dirty.
