We booked an annex room, we were giving a double room on the ground floor, certainly not the one we booked.

The hotel location was amazing, right at the front and close to all amenities. Nice outdoor space and well looked after. The reception was clean and welcoming.

We could not stay in front of the sea

The front desk staff at this property were amazing & helped us with ordering taxi's etc for our needs; we had an amazing corner room facing the beach & sea with a balcony while Cous Cous fest was going on. Prime location for beach access, and walking distance to restaurants & stores for shopping as well!

Right on the beach front. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Sun loungers and parasols available to hire directly from the hotel in a reserved section of the beach.

The shower pressure was very light, only trickled water. I didn't mention it as I only stayed one night. Everything else was great.

We did not enjoy our meal at the on site restaurant for dinner. Would have been better off walking 2 minutes to one of the many other great restaurants nearby.

The location is perfect! The view from the balcony rooms is amazing and highly worth the upgrade. The morning breakfast was great with lots of options. The spa was very nice. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was very helpful.

If you are travelling by car in peak season, contact the hotel for parking and access advice, the hotel is located in a traffic restricted zone that may require a permit. The breakfast was limited, but good. From the room we were in, we could hear noises coming from other surrounding rooms.

The greatest asset of the hotel is the team. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with the special mention of Veronica in reception. She went that extra mile to make our holiday as special as it was. The location of the hotel is right at the beach.

Breakfast by 8:45 very limited with cold eggs!!! Toilet seat didn’t fit properly in our “ comfort” room and overhead shower didn’t operate so maintenance needs attention. Took full payment at time of booking.

We booked this hotel because the website said there would be wifi. The wifi was the defining factor in booking this hotel because we both had work to do. When we got there the wifi was barely accessible from our room which was in the annex. Additionally, even when we were in the main building, the wifi would still cut out from time to time.

The location was great and the beach was very close. The chairs were a bit more expensive at the hotel's beach, but they provided us with towels which was great.

Be aware, as we weren't, that the word "Annex" in the room description means you get a room in an entirely different building. Receptionist Valentina showed us a room in the main building that we could have for an extra 30€ but it didn't seem worth it. We did get used to the separate location, the "Dependance". Valentina was nice enough to give us a discount on the Lido to make up for our disappointment.. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke and included an ashtray - and a No Smoking sign. We left the balcony door open all night and the AC running to help clear the stench. Driving to the location is a bit of a nightmare because of the ZTL zones. We parked at some distance and walked almost a kilometer to the hotel, then Fabrizio took me back and escorted our car to the hotel past the polizia checkpoint to get a permission slip. Then they parked our car in a separate garage that will cost you 15-20€ per day.

Proximity to the beach is the best feature. The hotel has a Lido that you can pay extra to use or free beach areas. The sea is fabulous there, clear water, great swimming with fabulous views of the mountains. The breakfast was very nice with a lovely selection of pastry, meats, cheeses, tomatoes, juices, coffee and nice service. The room had a comfortable bed and the towels were nice. Young staff member Fabrizio was a highlight of the staff, smiling and funny, helpful - he could have been a character from a Netflix Italian beach show. Meals at local beachfront spots are generally pretty good but we learned a valuable lesson when choosing a small local restaurant, Amico, for dinner. The lesson is to read reviews. After a horrible meal I discovered the place had almost all one-star reviews with descriptions that matched our experience. Despite that, San Vito Lo Capo has been a highlight of our trip to Italy.
