United KingdomAs soon as you enter you can smell the damp! The smell is very strong in the breakfast area in the basement where there is a dehumidifier and pink mould on the walls. Our bedroom “Sabbia” on ground floor also had damp problems as previous reviews suggested and nothing has been done about it. Peeling paint around the tiny window and in the corner of the room and black mould around the base inside the shower. Very disappointing that this hadn’t been cleaned. There were also toenail clippings under the bathroom basin and beneath the bed hadn’t been cleaned properly. The tiny window and bathroom windows opened directly onto the street where there is a restaurant so no privacy when open, very little light and zero ventilation hence the damp! If you are asthmatic or have allergies do not stay here! Thankfully we were only here 2 nights and even Ylenia’s customer service skills cannot make up for the state of the rooms (other guest had the same issues and discussed them at breakfast). It may be the end of the season but these things should have been addressed by now as staying here is certainly not good for one’s health!
Ylenia our host was extremely informative and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The location is excellent near the sea with public parking about a 5 minute walk away. The rooftop terrace is great with a shower and sea views.

AustraliaThis is the 2nd time we have stayed here and unfortunately we did notice a difference from our 1st stay. The room has not been updated in the past 4yrs, no new bed covers or items that make a room more comfortable such as a full length mirror (there is plenty of space in the room) bigger bed side shelf/draws, its so tiny you can hardly fit anything on it or coffee tea facilities with a kettle. The bathroom had slight mould problem in the shower and looked very tired, its screaming out for more shelves somewhere. One unfortunate issue is that the contact person when they arrive sit outside your room (a small area with a desk for her to work on) even thou there is not much area for this person to work, I felt it was inappropriate when you are in your room, both ourselves and our friends who stayed in the next room felt the same. Privacy.
The location is fabulous, so near the beach and old historic town Molfetta. The rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom sufficient. The contact person Ylena was very competent and friendly. Helpful when some things needed attention. Breakfast was ok, thou not much choice.

GermanyWe were there in a heat wave and air condition was too cold. Without ac it was too warm and with open windows insects came in, no good alternative. AC worked only when 1 person was inside the room and with room key inside. No pre-cooling or similar. Helps reducing electricity consumption, however, we were in a good hotel before and never had to switch on the ac at night because we pre-cooled the room before. And we could sleep well. That's the difference. We were 2 persons and it was impossible to get 2 room keys. No explanation why, these keys were cards so nonlarge effort. Means in reality you cannot go out alone without clarifying how to open the door. Electricity was only working with room key card inside so charging of smartphone or laptop only with 1 person plus key card inside. The fridge was also off when we were out. In the evening it was relatively warm in it. No good solution. 2 aspects that should be noted. The stairs are yery narrow and steep, OK when guests are fine with this (for us no problem). Lugguague cannot be transported close by the house and car parking can sometimes be relatively far away.
Close to downtown. The roof terrasse is large, very nice view on the sea and small beach close by. Shower on the terrasse. In most hours even in summer the dome and other buildings gave shadow on parts of the terrasse. You have the choice because other parts were in the sun. Suitable equipment to sit and to relax as well

United KingdomThe room and reception had a strange smell, it could have been the airfreshners masking the damp in the room and disinfectant in the reception area. Our room was on the ground floor and we were disturbed frequently with the electronic opening of the main entrance door and the setting up of the breakfast room at 7.30am
Central location, super helpful manager who went above and beyond to help us. As mentioned by others the window in room 6 is so small about 30cm x 30cm sq it is like being in a prison cell, but didn't really affect our stay, just a little strange

SerbiaBreakfast was poor, only sweets were available. Maybe that’s acceptable for people who don’t care about being healthy or Italians who simply wish to eat sweet croissants all day, but the rest of the world expects a healthy balanced breakfast for this kind of price; eggs, bacon, salad, olives, maybe some spreads and fruit. Another thing the room is very claustrophobic, the window is about 30 x 30 cm, and thats about the only light you can get. The room is incredibly tiny and we had to ask for basic things like fresh towels and toilet paper, yet the hosts did not answer our calls on numerous occasions. Another thing which could be improved is the way they make the bed, a duvet should always be in a bedsheet and NOT simply placed on top of a flat sheet. For this kind of basic accommodation, I might as well have gone camping. Maybe this would have all been acceptable if it came at a cheaper price, but this was definitely not worth it.
The terrace and the view from the place is lovely as well as the location. You’re really in the heart of the historical center and the beach.

ItalyStairs to the upper rooms are a bit tight, don't bring a big suitcase. The receptionist's office is right in front of the rooms. While I did appreciate someone being there it felt less private in the rooms with someone sitting right in front of them. While noise was no issue the walls are not the thickest. Parking can be a challenge but that's to be expected in an Italian town.
This B&B is located directly next to the sea. It has an awesome view through the little Appartment window and a great rooftop terrace. The room was very modern and is being cleaned daily. The bathroom was really nice, big and bright. The staff is great! Very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Molfetta is a cool town, close to bari but not as touristy.

United KingdomThe noise is unforgivable. There is an echoing of every single noise inside the building including: The slamming of plats and rattling of glasses constantly for 4 hours in the morning. Continuous slamming of doors. The ringing of the door buzzer on the main door. Banging of feet up and down the metal stairs. Furniture being dragged across the floor. Loud banging and knocking from the cleaner and then the vacuum cleaner. All of which takes place at a very early hour. It honestly sounds like the staff are angry and going out of their way to upset the customers even banging on bedroom doors when the do not disturb is showing. We found it impossible to sleep during this noise. To make the problem worse I had contacted the B&B before arriving after reading several reviews regarding the noise problem. I did consider cancelling the reservation during the free cancellation period after reading the reviews, but I was assured by the B&B that it would not be a problem and I would be given a room upstairs. This is obviously not the case. In addition to the noise the room was a little bit tired with many damp areas on the walls with flaking paint and dirty edges in the bathroom. The B&B did refund one night of our two night stay after acknowledging the problem.
Molfetta Old Town is beautiful with lots of things to see and plenty of nice places to eat and drink within a short walk from the B&B.
