Staff inattentiveness, breakfast unappetizing, noise levels in hotel rooms. Expensive for value received.

1 room NO cold running water, only hot. Couldn't use toilet & take showers. Two staff members came to fix and could not fix it. We had to share 2nd room facilities (downstairs). Later, I was messaged to go to reception (it was outside and downstairs) to change room, but was very late at night.

Neighbours' noise can be heard from the corridor plus they just finished with the renovation during our stay which was quite unpleasent during the late night.

Location is good, close to the train and ferry station.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations. We were served with lots of cold cuts, cheese, cakes, etc. The hostess/owner Josephine is so friendly and approachable. She even told us you can take pastries for your trip.

The drain in the bathroom was a bit clogged but it was our fault as we didn't raise this issue with the hotel. Everything else was superb!

We stayed at Hotel Beretta. The location, breakfast and cleanliness of the room were very great. There is a lift so that helps those who got large luggages. The hotel was just a few mins away from the ferry. The breakfast was lovely.

The conditions were terrible, the toilet stank, there was no refrigerator in the room, nothing but a bedside table and a bed. the bed was folded from two small beds. there was a hole in the center and it was not comfortable to lie on the bed. the curtains on the windows were glued with Velcro and were constantly peeling off. as if they did it in 1 day, it's terrible.

The room was so tiny and the bathroom was a joke. The shower in my room was less then 1m X 1m and had a shower curtain that would constant billow in and get stuck to you when you were trying to shower.

It was a good location, walkable distance from everywhere in town. There was a lot of food included in the breakfast; juice, coffee, mini pastries, cheese, parma ham, toast, yoghurt and cake most mornings. If you can’t finish it all make sure to ask for a take away bag and have it for lunch.

didn’t like there was no kettle in room, there was dust in the bedroom, they didn’t give you fresh body wash every day. you could hear everyone in the corridor outside your room and the music playing from downstairs. the cleaning staff were kean to get into the room on the morning of check out before it was even 10am. made me feel like I had to leave as soon as possible. over all it was an ok stay. I would recommend this property if you are going to be gone exploring most of the trip.

I liked how close to the train station/ferry/coast line this property is. I like they have a shop/cafe down stairs. very handy as when I visited Varenna there was not that many places open.

I reserved a room în hotel Montecodeno but we have to do the check-in,în Hotel Beretta (just 15 m from Hotel Montecodeno) and the room what he gave to us was in Hotel Beretta (The room was the same what i reserved, so it was oké).

Very well situated hotel with very helpfull stuff, and beautiful view. Good Breakfast.

The staff were extremely helpful in making sure i had everything I needed and very friendly. It is also in a perfect location . Only 2 minute walk to the ferry and 5-10 minutes from the main areas but out the way enough to not be too noisy.

I can't find fault.

The breakfast was varied and copius. It included cereal,fruit,yogurts,warm croissants, toast and pain aux chocolate. The hotel team are welcoming and very friendly especially Yekaterina who was super supportive. Thanks to all of you as you made my stay memorable.
