Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe room was small for a family of four (Junior Suite) but I guess still big in comparison to the rest of Rome. The electric panel (lights&AC) was not easy to get used to, but it all worked well.
Breakfast was very good. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Design of the interior and rooms is colourful, high Standard. The location is great! Staff is very friendly.

IsraelThere were problems with the air conditioning and shower but they fixed it quickly and gave us a free dinner for compensation that included starters, main and deserts for all of us. So we left with a good feeling. There are no closets. Less suitable for elders or old fashion people.
The staff was excellent, very nice and helpfull. Helped immediatly when ever asked. Great breakfast. The hotel is new with smart control pannels for the lights and air conditioning. On the last day we left before the breakfast started so they made us sandwiches with whatever we asked and fresh coffee.

United KingdomVery little. The minibar could perhaps have a larger selection and some snacks would be good. Room service as an option / breakfast in room would be nice too for this class of hotel. The hi-tech buttons are possibly a little over-complex, and the decor of rooms is ultra modern, which might not be everyone's taste, although I liked it. The smart TV is very good, but might be worth considering setting up access for Netflix, etc. as another option for people.
Having travelled a lot, I have high expectations. But this is a rare case of expectations being not just met, but surpassed. It's not so much the facilities of the hotel (although they are excellent), so much as the small extra touches, which do make all the difference to your stay, and they obviously realise that here. Little personal good night messages and sugary treats each evening, very friendly staff, little bags in the bathroom with toiletry items you might need. Shower is excellent. Even the air conditioning worked, which is something of a miracle from my experience of Italy otherwise! And most of all, a personalised breakfast where you can choose extra items like omelettes, and they bring you a selection of very nice (warm) pastries, etc. Extremely well done, and far better than the normal buffet experience. I don't actually want to recommend this too highly because I might not get in next time I'm in Rome! The area is also very pleasant - lots of restaurants nearby and very close to Cavour metro station. There is also a rooftop bar/restaurant within the hotel, although I didn't manage to try it

GreeceRoom temperature was always ok but never figured out how to operate the heating properly. Not much to care of though.
The location was great. Room was big, the bathroom was so beautiful. Although the square in front of the hotel is always crowded, we couldn’t hear anything inside with the window closed. The staff is amazing! So friendly and helpful. Congratulations to everyone and especially Olga who took care of us every morning!

IsraelIt was too hot in the room, I tried to change the air conditioning temperature and also told the receptionist that I couldn't change it, they said that they will try to fix this, however it was still very hot in the room. For some reason they use the A\C on 21-25 Celsius, I don't know why they don't allow lower temperatures.
The room was modern, clean and well equipped. We had a coffee machine, big bed, refrigerator, safe deposit, smartphone that we could use during the day with free internet. The service in the reception was good, the breakfast was nice as well.

SwitzerlandAt times the flooring seemed a bit bouncy - gave a disorienting sense. The shower while very neat and with cool horizontal jets needs some further tweaking to not flood the bathroom ;)
We very much were enchanted by the service! the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The breakfast offered a great start to the day and included a bit of everything (from savoury to sweet). The bed was super comfy and the room in general a very clean and stylish place.

Netherlands- The room was a little small - The breakfast is served as a set. Thus you actually don’t really have a choice about what you (don’t) take. Meaning (which is what we noticed on other tables), a part of the breakfast goes to waste, because people are being served items that they may not want to eat. - The panel to control the lights was difficult to use, and kept lighting up during the night. - Our room was next to the street (on the same level), we prefer to open our window during the night, but it was too noisy. - Our room was about EUR 130/night. Which is pricy, but still OK. However, when we wanted to extend the price was substantially higher, and we didn’t find the venue worth this kind of money.
- We were welcomed by the staff with coffee and cake :-) - Located near a subway station, in a street filled with artists, galleries etc. Very nice location, especially in the evening. And close to all the ‘big attractions’ in Rome. - The rooms are brand new and equipped with all that’s needed for a comfortable stay. - The breakfast has lot’s of choice and is fresh, they also work together with a local (Rome) coffee brewer

Great location - easily walkable from Roma Termini, even closer to the Colosseum. Staff are all extremely lovely and always happy to help. Room was much bigger than expected and was modern and clean. Breakfast was varied and fresh - we loved the “buffet” at the table.
