There is no elevator in this building, so it's best for people without accessibility restrictions or extremely heavy luggage.

The room was spacious and comfortable. All of the staff was very professional and had our breakfast tables prepared each morning along with a lovely cappuccino. Also, the location is unbeatable - just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and main square. Nearly all the key sites were within a 10 - or 12-minute walk. We had to check in late, but the self check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Staff met us for breakfast the next day to complete check-in.

3-4 flights of stairs. Parents with children or people with mobility issues will find this challenging.

Amazing location in the centre of the old town. No more than a few minutes walk to any of the sights. The room was plenty big enough. The breakfast was good. All in all highly recommended.

A secure place to store luggage before or after checkin/checkout would be nice. Luggage was left in hallway, although only current guests with keys could access that hallway.

Great location about 2 blocks from Duomo, but on a side street no too busy with traffic. Breakfast included which had coffee, juice, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurt and fruit. Bedrooms with high ceilings and modern bathroom.

No lift but I did get fit. It isn't suitable for a disabled person or someone who can't climb a lot of stairs.

The guest house is in a great location and it is perfectly placed to get to all the sights and around a 15- 20 minute walk from the station. There are great restaurants in the same road and it isn't noisy overnight. The room was large and had everything we needed. Breakfast is one of the best I have had and is checked constantly to ensure there is enough of everything. I would definitely stay again.

There was no elevator, and there’s about 60 large steps over 4 flights / 2 levels to get to the rooms. This can be very problematic for older travellers and as we returned to get our luggage an older couple was checking in so I helped the gentleman carry his luggage up. There’s also 2 number 5’s on the same street, you want #5 Blue, if you have reached the leather food store, you have gone too far 😂

Fabulously appointed, period correct, opulent rooms. Incredibly accomodating host who would personally make us breakfast in the morning. Check in was painless, and held our luggage for us a few hours before and after check in / check out. Room is accessible through RFID swipe cards, which also open the door to the several hundred year old building from the street. An amazing place, only about 300m from the Duomo so right in the thick of it, superb location. Breakfast was amongst the freshest and tastiest I have had in Italy.

Highly recommend staying here. The location is right in the heart of the city and easily within walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and the beds are huge. The modern bathroom was clean and tidy. The building is the highlight, a truly authentic experience of Florence. The daily breakfast is enough to set you up for your day of exploring Florence. The owners are friendly and accommodating. If you stay here open the windows to hear the delights of life in Florence. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We knew there was no elevator. We didn’t know there were 77 steps to climb each time we came home. However, we do not regret our choice to stay here because everything else about the place was just great.

The location and the room were fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The A/C worked spectacularly. We stayed for 11 nights and had the best time.

The glass bathroom would be a bit weird if you weren't super close with your travelling partner but solo or as a couple it works fine!
