Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing bad to say and the Spanish quarter is aafe at night.
Great location, beautiful clean hostel, safe too, loved how easy was to unlock the locker plus unlock the door with a single bracelet ! All stuff are so nice 😊also a beautiful garden outside ! Francesco had been really great at reception desk !

The staff were great, the rooms good and air conditioned. Nice kitchen and bar/outside area to enjoy. The also had some food and drinks that you could grab and pay when checking out. Maybe I was just lucky but all the guests were super nice so the atmosphere in the hostel was super friendly and gained some good friends.

I think this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. The staff are incredibly friendly & lovely, and the people I was in the room with were super friendly & respectful of other people in the room (being quiet late at night etc). The location is also perfect, lots of amazing restaurants super close by & you can walk to many of Naples’ best spots.

Bathrooms were a bit small but not much of an issue.
Very nice facilities and really good for the price. Outdoor space was great with bar in evening for socializing. Also free breakfast was great.

The only cons is that after 11PM or 12AM (depending on the day), the kitchen and the garden are closed. I understand it's probably not to bother the neighbours, but that means that after that hour you can only stay in your room.
I stayed at NAP hostel for 4 nights. It's a very pleasant hostel right in the middle of the city, very close to many points of interest and well connected. The atmosphere at the hostel is very relaxed. It's not a party hostel (which I appreciated) and the guests were very diverse and in different age groups. It's easy to meet and connect with people (I did attend the social dinner - recommended). The staff are super friendly and helpful and contribute to make it a great place to spend a few days at. The room (8 bed dorm) was clean and the bed comfortable.

It’s on one of the main streets, really convenient. Like the layout of the room, l booked a 10 beds mix room, but you won’t feel crowded at all, the balcony was good. The breakfast also an absolutely highlight, you can get all different choices everyday and it’s free, thanks a lot chef :).

Nothing really
Good location and environment, staff are friendly, they help me with finding great beaches, thank. The night I arrived a staff was a bit stressed. I hope that he was doing well. The breakfast was great, some public places can be more cleaned. Overall a very nice stay for solo travelers.

The kitchen closes from 11pm and I was not aware of it first. Had some food in the fridge wanted to take with me the next early morning for a trip and it was closed :(
Nice staff, super clean rooms, nice location. They also had breakfast included but was never there in the mornings at those specific hours. Staff was super friendly and helped me with all the questions.

When using showers, there's not a lot of space to keep towels and other clothes.

If you are on the top bunk bed close to the door, the air con sound can be a bit annoying
Location is very central and you close to the main attractions of the city. Rooms are big and beds are comfy. Staff very helpful and friendly and they serve an amazing breakfast
