Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaThe room was not clean. I know that this is a hostel, but we had a private room, so you would expect the room to be at least clean for 100+ Eur per night. The place has a "breakfast" option, but you get a tea/coffee and crossant, which was old. And that is it. Would not recommend to take a room with a breakfast, you can buy that bun in the market close by.
The location was great, about 20 min from walking distance from Duomo Cathedral. Less than that to canals where there are many bars/restaurants and also fun at night. There are bus/tram stop close by so it it easy to use public transport if you need to get somewhere further. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. Due to these two things our stay was OK.

IndiaBathroom was wet. There was wiper/towel to keep it dry. There was no handwash in washrooms, missing a must needed thing. Staff doesn't seems very helpful.
Size of the room was very good. Location was not in center of city, but was around 1.5 KMs from Duomo. Lockers were big enough to keep your luggage.

United KingdomBathroom very small to share with 5 other people. Reception isn't always the friendliest. Was asked for a 2 euro city tax which should be included in price. Broken heater in room. No air con and in hot nights if you keep the window opened traffic noise disturbs your sleep. One tiny bathroom to share with others. This place needs a refurb.

United KingdomWe waited 1 hours 45 mins for our room to be ready even though we arrived after the check in time. Had to be prompted that we were still waiting.
Room was very spacious, 3 double beds for 3 people. Lift was handy with bags. Located near nice bars and places to eat.

FinlandYou are required to always leave your key at receptions before you leave the premises, which would be fine, however we got given the wrong key once which raised some security concerns for me. When we booked the stay on Booking.com it advertised that a “good breakfast” would be included in the price, and let me tell you one croissant and coffee is not a breakfast. It’s a good croissant I’ll give you that, but it’s not enough for a breakfast. The elevator is a little scary, I avoided it since it seemed like it might brake any moment.
Great location, walking distance from everywhere you would like to visit in Milan, also if you are into the party scene the hostel is very close to the canals where there is great nightlife. If you don’t want to walk too much you can easily use public transportation. Me and my friend booked a private room with two beds, so I cannot speak for the shared rooms experience. Our room was clean when we arrived, and towels were included. Also there was an AC and hair dryer.

United KingdomIf you are expecting a full breakfast then this is not the right place to stay - you only get a croissant( but a very nice one) and a hot drink. Personally you get what you paid for. I was in Italy for three days and a hostel was convenient and cheap for my stay considering I won’t be in there unless I’m asleep! The staffs are friendly and are helpful I met a few people in the mix room I was in and everyone was very nice - you will come across different ages too which was surprising as I thought people would be around my age (24). The beds are not comfy at all. I’m not picky with beds but this one was tough as a brick. There was also someone snoring extremely loud that no one could sleep because of it (thats more down to the person than the hostel but that is a downside of sharing rooms) If you want to feel more comfortable it is best to get a female dormitory only so you have the freedom to use the bathroom and shower etc without feeling like someone will come inside as there is no locks on the bathroom! Other than that, I got what I paid for and it was a short term stay! But if you want to prioritise a good sleep and plan to stay longer than 3 days I would recommend else where to stay!
