We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe apartment is lovely and modern, the room is big and spacious. There are shops, supermarkets and more on the same street. The well known market 'Capo' is just 5 minutes away. The center is about a 10 minute walk. Alberto the host is extremely kind and very helpful!

PolandThe best host we have ever met during all of our trips around the world. Alberto was so kind and helpful for us, so we felt like home. The room was really big, we had our private bathroom outside the room which was very clean and tidy. Generally flat is well equipted. The location is perfect, close to supermarkets/street food/groceries. It is only 1km to the old city centre so you can take a walk there. WIFI is working fine without any problems. There is also access to Netflix and YT if anyone needs it. We recommend this apartment and we wish to come back there some day. It was a plesure to be there. Arrivederci Alberto :)

BelgiumMy girlfriend and I stayed for 8 days in Palermo where we rented a room with private bathroom. The host Alberto was very friendly and helpful. We had twin beds, something that is hard to find anywhere. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Convenient was the shared kitchen and sitting area. Alberto made sure there was always coffee in stock. The location was excellent. The historic centre, sights, restaurants, Lolly train station are all within walking distance. It is located in a lively neighbourhood but since the accommodation is at the back of the building, you are not bothered by noise. Thank you Alberto for a pleasant stay. Christa and Marleen.
