Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsIt was cold and the heating system was not working well the first day and when it did work it was not very warm (not easily adjustable from the room self). Not very well insulated so it was quite noisy if there were people in the corridors (not comfortable for a nap during the day)

Greecethe room has the room had cobwebs. the maids came in to clean while I was sleeping. the breakfast was very bad, at home I have more variety. In general the staff didn't know English well and were not friendly and helpful at all. even I came back from my walk at 11.30 at night and I was knocking 5 minutes for them to let me in, and there was no reception around the clock. finally watch out for checkout. all hotels have check out at 12, while these at 10.30 and then they charge you. The location of the hotel was great. Close to Porta Susa train station and some great places to eat.

United KingdomI was absolutely freezing in the middle of the night with no ability to turn the heat up - I had to sleep in my clothes. The couple in the next room were fighting at 2am, which I heard through the thin walls, and it was difficult to go to sleep. The shower smelled of curry and I could smell the chocolate croissants baking at some time in the middle of the night. A very pleasant smell but not one you want to be woken up to at 4.30am when you have to get up at 6am.
Excellent location for Porta Susa, very friendly, helpful and welcoming, accommodating receptionist, extremely clean. Nice, new bathroom. Good selection at the extensive continental breakfast.

Denmark2:30 am, somebody screamed as if he was being killed for 15 minutes (no kidding). Reception guy went upstairs to check (after I called him using the room phone) but the screams stopped every time somebody was in the corridor. The next day the Chinese reception guy (he can speak some English) explained to me and other guests that the screams were somebody's problem but everything was ok (maybe somebody with a psychiatric problem-illness? maybe somebody that received the worst news?). Expect to have Italian loud people complaining at 9am in the corridors while cleaning the rooms. Also they have hard wells carts and they make some important noise at early morning. Check out is at 10:30hs. Available but complicated car park in the premises: 15 euro the night until 11am (new rules) and 10euros the rest of the day. They have a few spaces (turin is a car impossible place) and you need to leave the keys. Asking for an extra pillow is possible but they are not eager to do it an/or they look look like if they don't have extra pillows.
Breakfast is not perfect and the space is cramped. But they offer some yogurt, fruits, industrial bread, croissant, jam, cheese for sandwich, coffee, machine fruit juice, butter, Nutella-like small spreads, heater for sandwiches you can make with bread ham and cheese. You don't have to pay for car park at night or on Sundays in Turin streets (if you find a free space, good luck). I think that 35 euros a day or 15 for a night on premises small car park (until 11am) is a must if you're ok with leaving the keys and if you whant to forget about doing street car parking hours, payments, app, or who knows...

France2 single-person mattress instead of a queen size mattress. We were disappointed by the lack of a boiler and tea and coffee. The room was smaller than expected. My wife and I are small but someone around 90kg and above would probably struggle with the shower.
The breakfast was fine, the staff is nice and the proximity to the train station and bus area is convenient.
