We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Indiathe most dirtest property i have ever seen in my life. Cleanliness and Hygiene are clearly thrown out of thw window. No accessibility of basic items at reception. bathrooms arent always stocked or clean. for the price you pay, you can easily get a decent holiday inn

Finlandthe room's interior is ugly and unpleasant. chipped paint, squeaky and uncomfortable bed, ceiling fan covered in thick dust. bathroom didnt really have lights, shower temperature was unpredictable, and there wasnt a lock on the room's door?? the entrance to the hostel itself is also weird and unwelcoming.
the only good thing is the location. if you're travelling through milano and really just want a place to sleep then it'll do.

United KingdomLockers could of been a bigger size, for travellers with 6+ litre backpacks.
Nice staff and great room with a balcony. There is a great sized kitchen and an area with a pool table and sofas with a TV to chill at which not a lot of hostels have. There is also a small bar, piano to play and a lot of tables downstairs to relax at. So the facilities are brilliant!

When I was sleeping at night people that lives there turning lights on and spoken so loudly and I couldn't sleep 😕 . When I arrived the sheets had not been changes and it looked so dirty. The room smelly 🤢 .It seems like a place for homeless. In general that was a bad experience

BelgiumThe staff was incredibly rude, they were ignoring us at the check-in for about 15 minutes. No privacy at all between bunks, everything was filthy, the sheets were stained, our bed was completely broken and when we asked for another bed they refused to help us and just “fixed it” with plastic cable ties, which didn’t work. When asked for an explanation the boss just walked out. No locks on bathroom doors, toilets incredibly filthy and broken. Kitchen was inaccessible and nasty. Showers stank, were dirty and one didn’t even have a lock on it. Very noisy from reception, they didn’t take into account that people are sleeping. Even if you’re on a budget, go someplace else, this is not worth any money. It should be illegal to treat guests like this. Booking.com should take this hostel down. DONT GO HERE!!!!

United KingdomIt smelt, there was bed bugs, rude staff, overfilled rooms with just mattresses put in the middle of them between bunks (not even an actual bed and on floor). Dusty, dirty and just overall extremely unclean and overpriced.
I liked how central it was and close to everything, especially the station.

HungaryThe fan in the room that I stayed didn't work so well and weather was really hot. Try not to stay in noon and in the afternoon of summer.
The hostel is near the center and metro so that you can go anywhere. It's also near a Carefour supermarket so you can buy stuff.

IcelandThe young man who was there when I checked in in the evening of Monday 15th August 2022, was very rude to all the guests. He was unhelpful to guests who asked him for simple advice (how to call a taxi, where to keep the luggage and go for food...) and exceptionally disrespectful. However, the morning after (16th August), there was a very nice, polite and helpful young man in the reception, who made the experience of this filthy and neglected hostel a bit better. I stay in hostels all the time, and this one is among the dirtiest and most smelly and neglected I have stayed at! It needs some love and a really good, thorough cleaning and re-organising of the whole thing. It is cheap but hardly a good value, still.
