United KingdomFelt hotel needs updating on furniture and overall decor. I would put as 3 star property. Restaurant bar seating very outdated faux leather chairs and not comfortable. Odd DJ stand set up in bar with Video of property on repeat. A bit odd. Not sure why outdoor patio at breakfast not utilized as would have been nicer view. BedRoom was ok, but for example old fashioned Hair Dryers wall mounted in bathrooms, and shower stalls very flimsy. Had requested Balcony room with sea view and received, but balcony wall solid concrete so once seated, could not see over wall, so not really utilized the view. Additionally, room adjacent balcony offered no privacy as you could see into other room/balcony. Location a bit isolated up hill. Pool not heated first week october a bit disappointing.
Loved the staff, very kind and accommodating, Quick with recommendations and assistance. Asked for room service on balcony, and it was accommodated promptly.

United StatesLack of shuttle options; room view was non-existent; thin room walls. The hotel could use some general maintenance, particularly of the grounds.
The hotel was very nice, but slightly less than what I expected. The hotel is a bit far from the "action," requiring a shuttle (or walk on a narrow, windy road) into town. The shuttle doesn't start until 9 a.m., and only offers two drop-off locations. Which made getting to tours/experiences that started at 9 a bit difficult. On the plus side, the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was very nice and expansive. The bar for apertivo was great (the bartender made his own gin, which was excellent), and the dinner itself was very good and reasonably-priced (particularly for a hotel). Also, the staff was absolutely wonderful. From the concierge (Rosanna) to the front desk staff to the shuttle driver to the restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond.

United KingdomReception service was slow and slightly painful, especially upon arrival and when requesting a taxi, decor was slightly dated, but overall lacked the €500+ per night value for money, didn't really feel like staff went the extra mile to understand their guests unfortunately!
Room was very large, spacious and cleaned daily with a patio. Location was good, a short walk or shuttle ride from train station and town centre/beach. Views of the hills are very picturesque. Shuttle bus is very handy and on call regularly. Pool and spa are very nice, massages available upon request. Breakfast was good, inside or on the patio.
