It's our first time in Matera. And we do love it! Our room is like semi cave but it modernized, it is unique experience for our kids. Not to far from the station and really right before the sassi. We love the view! Breakfast also nice, with plenty of bread, cookies, & cakes! Also pizza 😄

Wow! everything! A huge room with kitchenette. Enormous bathroom and shower. And a large patio to enjoy the view. Beautifully renovated!

The staff weren't exactly helpful on the phone when the taxi driver took us to a different location.

The location had great views. It's a bit difficult to find. Be prepared for lack of street names in the Sassi. The buffet breakfast was excellent - having savoury options is a plus in Italy. the video sent to us before our visit helped find the B & B.

There is nothing to not like we had a great stay here

This is an amazing location with a fantastic view, we took the smaller room but despite other reviews I can say it’s perfect (it’s small because of the nature of the building which adds to its charm and authenticity) the host communication was great and always helpful the shower a little small but fine and very good (I’m 6”5 and managed just fine- we loved the terrace and watched the sun go down as we relaxed

Nothing. It was fabulous

This was certainly one of the nicest places I have stayed in. We had a beautiful apartment (The White Hose) with a huge shower, dressing room bedroom and kitchen. It had a fabulous terrace with the most fantastic view of Matera..it is a typical cave hotel in the centre of this amazing cave town. Would come back just to stay here again.

Everything was absolutely perfect. And the view-WOW!!. The pictures on the site it appears to be in the distance-it is not! It is right out your window! Location was just steps away from the central area. Breakfast, which was wonderful, was served in an actual cave or option of a cute outdoor courtyard. We parked at Via Rocco Scotellaro Parking lot, a secure facility for E25/day and a very short walk to the accommodation.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable. None of the advertised appliances were working. Dishwasher, oven, washing machine were all out of order.

Great location, easy to get to both the Sassi and new town. Parking available nearby. Wonderful views from the large terrace.

Oven / stove top weren’t working in our apartment, but this didn’t affect us.

We were in the Rosso room. Fabulous location and great view from the shared terrace. Spacious room and great air conditioning. The reception and breakfast/cleaning staff were all wonderful and very accommodating.

Breakfast was okay but could improve a bit. The room service could be better as they did not vacuum or clean my room during my three night stay. WIFI was shockingly slow and interrupted.

Perfect communication with personal. They even prepared your room earlier than they were supposed to. Nice accomodation in the heart of old town. Private bathroom, fridge in the room with small bottles of cold water (this saved us in extremely hot day). Breakfast in a cave hall was incredible. Nothing to complain. Thank you very much.

Lovely place, spacious, very clean in wonderful, quiet area, staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was tasty :), the balcony and the view on Matera was outstanding, it was worth every penny to stay in such an amazing place :)

Everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing. The staff were very proactive with their communication, making check-in a breeze. They were also very nice, and considerate people. The location of the property cannot be beat. It has great views, is very central, yet is still very quiet. The room was very nice, clean and modern. We loved the shower, and the bed. We also loved the terrace and the balcony. We also really appreciated the morning breakfast. The fruit, the pastries, the focaccia bread, and the coffee (cappuccino) were excellent. We also were thankful that the staff contacted a Taxi for our departure. We felt very fortunate to have booked Le Vie Del Mosto. I can't imagine another place matching the price, location, facilities, and staff.
