Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

it was very historic buildings big high ceilings were amazing big windows and the location easy to walk distance to Fair Ground even Closer to Down town

Stayed here before.... its a basic hotel, beds were comfortable, room was clean , the staff were nice and the location is brilliant. 10 mins to station and 20 mins to center walking..... highly recommended.end.this hotel...also we.hada balcony which was perfect for me as.a smoker..

The room is big , the location is very perfect. You can easy walk all attractions in Florence.
The hotel rooms need renovation some renovation. At least bed linen. The room was superior so it is really big, but the atmosphere is very communist and the price i paid was too high.

Nothing really, just a small fridge and a kettle would be make the room even better in my opinion. Overall a great option
The hotel is in a perfect location, next to everything. The room was quite big with comfortable bed and bathroom. Pretty much had everything you need for a stay for few days

Floor in the room was so cold! They really need rugs for winter period. The shower stall doors cannot be closed due to an error in calculating the distance between them. Some of the water will spill out anyway. The distance between the toilet and the wall is barely big enough for your legs. There is no free drinking water provided in the room.

While it wasn't a problem, the bathroom was very small.
The hotel is conveniently located in a quieter part of the city - the room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. A good economical option for a short stay!

Didn't like the fact it wasn't 24/7 reception and doors were looked after a certain time at night and you had to put codes in. My boyfriend and I got split up one night and only one of us had the code and no Internet so he was locked out for a little bit. I had to keep going down and checking to see if he was outside.
The hotel was lovely. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. Beds are made every day. The hotel was great value for money.

Took us a while to work out how to get in. Look for the doorbell for the door to be released.
Fabulous room (deluxe room-well worth it) staff friendly, breakfast good. Felt very safe. Room overlooked the park which was nice.

We asked for room with a double bed and we got a room with 2 single beds pushed together which would separate during the night if we moved too much.

It would be even more comfortable if tea and coffee making facilities were available in the room.
