The only inconvenience is that you have to do check in and check out in a different hotel, not very far but when you get to Alghero around midnight, it's a bit of an inconvenience.

I stayed a shared room with 3 other girls, the room looked very nice, clean and spacious. We had a private toilet and bathroom. A good price and ration for price/quality.

Not having a kitchen in that big common area is very strange, there's only a microwave regarding having warm food, you either have to buy ready to eat stuff or go eat outside which is not always convenient

Spacious rooms, very clean, big lockers. I saw other comments saying that the other hotel for check-in/check-out was too far but it's a 400m walk which takes max 5mins, it was perfectly fine.

There is one thing which we didn't like and the was confusion for the check-in. The reception is on the different location then the hostel, so better communicate with them before arrival, because trying to find the place in the stormy night was quite horror.

The location is pretty ok, everything was close. We were also satisfied with the room and the comfort of the beds (single room with two beds) The receptionist was kind, helpful.

Not sure if it’s because it’s slow season so facilities aren’t maintained as well, but the lights and all charging ports in the female dorm weren’t working.

I was the only one in the room I booked so it was a peaceful stay. Room and bathrooms were very clean.

The hostel check in is in different place (the reception of other hotel) so you also need to bring back key next day there. On reservation it is said that there is parking, but when we arrived they did not let us in as the car was too big (VW T-rock) and we had to look for place in the street. For me basically it means that there is no parking at this place. Or this information has to be provided in advance.

The room was quite comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were towels missing, so they brought it in half an hour. Good price and coffee selling machine inside.

The reception is in another location 5 minutes away from the hostel.

Super nice staff and 24/7 reception. The rooms were very well organized and each bed, wardrobe and towel holders had a specific letter. Fridge, private bathroom inside the room with toilet paper for each bed as well as towels. Spoons, cups, forks available for free. Good internet connection. Storage room in the hotel. Calm and quiet atmosphere.

Even though there was a usb socket next to my bed, I didn't have an electricity one and there were only 2 in the room. As a I care about the security for my electronical devices, I'd rather have it next to me. Also, it's great to have a heater for water in the common area, but glasses provided are plastic and get melted. Someone told me to put one on top of another and it kind of worked but there should be mugs.

Soap available for free. Towels included. Please keep the hangers for the towels for each bed as that is very helpful and hardly ever seen in hostels. Fridge provided for free. Plastic cutlery provided for free.

One of the beds did not have a cover while the others did (luckily it was in the locker and we took it from there) and it was not very practical having to check in and out at a nearby hotel. Also, the hotel did not answer my message on WhatsApp after they contacted me via WhatsApp when I asked whether they needed to receive our IDs in advance but then weren't too nice about waiting for my friends to send their IDs via WhatsApp at 22 in the night so I could show them to the clerk although there was 24 h reception. They also gave me only one access card ("key") for three people even though I left a 20 euro deposit because I did not have less money on me. I did not ask because we were staying just one night, but it would have been nice to be offered to have more than one, as the deposit was 5 euro per key card and we were 3 people. There weren't many full sockets to charge appliances either, most had an USB connection and some phones cannot be charged there because they have a different one. It would have also been nice if the soap had a more neutral smell.

some small things should be chanted for the electrical system : in bunk bed rooms having to put one person's card in to have sockets electricity is not ok ( that person can go out , you are sleeping and you don't get your phone charged for example) .Also USB-A is quite obsolete , top beds should have normal plugs or the universal USB-C

I got the top bunk bed and there was a large gap between the bed and the rail. I had the feeling I could fall out as the rail was not low enough to prevent me from falling out/down. It did not happen. However, I was quite aware when sleeping about my positioning in the bed. The bed was except that a bit loose or wiggly, so not the most steady type of bed. I would not say it was any hazard, but just not a very sturdy type of bed. It was fine for 3 nights.

I would recommend this place to other solo travelers because the room I stayed in was clean, well kept, bathroom was clean and modern (not old), and the overall comfort was good. The room was spacious and clean. Bed were cheap, but clean and completely okay for a week or two of vacation. I only spent 3 days, but i could have stayed longer without any issues. Check-in and check-out was easy and fine. In my opinion the hostel was centrally located and the old town was in walking distance. For me it was easy to find the hotel to check in from by using Google maps, and it was close by the Hostel location. The check-in and the hostel itself were two separate locations as instructed when booking and before arrival. The receptionists that I encountered when checking in and out at the hotel reception were friendly and provided me with the necessary information. When I was leaving I also received my deposit of 5 euros back in cash. Bed comfort was fine and it was not any issues with loud noices during my stay. The bed was wide enough. I would highly recommend everyone to bring earpluggs and a sleeping mask. I did not have a sleeping mask, but wished I had one as the light was switched on in the evening and night sometimes by the other girls. Noice was not a problem, but to be on the safe side smart to have earplugs. I was happy with my stay and would say its a safe booking if you need to stay in a hostel to explore Algero.

A bit of a distance to walk to old town and beach. Check in is at a separate hotel so have to walk a distance between both to check in and out.

Nice hostel, had all amenities. Clean, rooms were nice and bed comfy.
